The hotel is situated within walking distance from both the Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. It is also very close to the Albert Cuypstraat Market. The Metro is also just next to the market. Based on what we were looking for as traveling family of 5, convenience was what we were looking for and we got it with NH Museum Quarter. The rooms themselves were clean although the air con for one of the rooms were not working properly and that did not help with the hot weather outside. Addition to that, had initial problems with key cards for one of the rooms. Had to sort them out a few times with the reception. In the end they got it working. Reception staff were friendly but can’t say much for the bartender. On the whole, the experience with the hotel was pleasant.

Stayed 5nights at the hotel. We were very disappointed at the housekeeping - despite asking to have our rooms cleaned when we return the only thing that happened was bed made and towels replaced - floor not vaccumed and sheets unchanged. We complained at reception 3 times before the problem was addressed on day 4 of our stay --- so I short over the 5 days we stayed the sheets were changed once and room vaccumed once! Each time we complained we were just signed a drinks voucher (worth under 10bucks for what it can give you at the bar). We are travelling with a toddler and so expect our room to get messier and ask for the cleaning each day. Outside the issues - room is very spacious. Furniture and fittings are quite dated and dull. Location is amazing - very close to food options and transport and museums.

We stayed there for a weekend and liked the location. It's very near to the major museums and it's fairly quiet there. It's easy to explore the city centre on foot from there. The breakfast buffet was good and nicely presented. Our room was fairly big for a city hotel and clean. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is more like a business hotel. We got the impression that the clientele of the hotel was mixed: families, couples and business people (quite a few flight attendants).
