The Bank Hotel

Staff are amazing very friendly and helpful. Location is great you can walk almost everywhere. We had the junior suite and there was plenty of room. Loved that they had an elevator made brining the luggage up and down a lot easier. Amsterdam is a lovely city and when we come back I will definitely stay here agai

Nicely appointed and furnished room with modern and spacious bathroom. Located centrally; we walked from the train station Centraal. Dining and shopping abound with a mix of vintage clothing and local stores, close to bike rentals and the canals. Noisy as night approaches due to the nearby restaurants and pubs. Felt safe. Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. Slippers would have been a nice touch.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights while awaiting our Rhine river cruise. Staff is friendly and helpful. We were given some complementary water bottles for our use. pretty convenient location to walk to/from Amsterdam Centraal station and to our cruise dock. Too bad there is so much street construction going on for Amsterdam's 750th birthday celebration later in 2024, but after that it should be a lot easier to walk here.

We had a family room 205 which looks over the backyards, not the street, so it was very quiet. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Nice espresso machine and a kettle but the small fridge didn’t work well. Large bathroom with heated floors 😁. Front staff was very helpful. Good location for restaurants. About 15 minutes to the Central station. Was pleased with the stay.

The Bank Hotel is a excellent small hotel at a great price perfect for a short stay. It was very clean and the junior studio we stayed in (4 adults) was roomy and pleasant. It looked recently renovated. The Bath was large and had enough towels for all. Everything worked. Bed were comfortable. The staff downstairs was super pleasant and helpful. We arrived very early so left our luggage in their little shared luggage room and it was fine. There is an elevator (small but did the job). The area is great. lots of shops and restaurants and not too far from old town. Lots to do (but watch out for the bicyclist LOL). We only stayed one night before returning home to US. Once at the airport we realized my sister had left her iPad in the room. We quickly called and they found it. We didn't have time to pick it up or even go out to wait for a taxi to bring it to us so we asked them to ship it (from Amsterdam to California) to us. They shipped it that day. A week later it arrived in great shape. Such helpful and nice people. Thanks again.

Very friendly & helpful staff! The hotel is spotlessly clean and has lovely amenities. The bathroom in the family room was luxurious with both a long tub and a shower. This is not an accessible hotel, and the step out the front door is a doozy, but they have an elevator

I was highly disappointed with my stay at The Bank Hotel. I reserved 2 junior suites for my friends and my first trip to Amsterdam. After the first night we realized one of the rooms had bed bugs so we asked the staff if there was anything they could do. They did not seem all that concerned about it but said they would take a look while we were out for the day. We returned later assuming we would get a new room but the man working reception explained that they had cleaned the room and changed the sheets. He didn’t seem to care that simply changing the sheets would not get rid of the bed bug problem. We decided to make it work but still refused to sleep in that bed. Upon check out we asked if there would be any sort of compensation for our stay. We were told no and that all we would need to do is freeze our clothes or maybe wash them on extra hot. The fact that we could be bringing bed bugs back to our homes and need to take extra steps to try to prevent this is a bit ridiculous. The staff only asked if we were “okay” but didn’t even apologize for any inconvenience to us. The only good part about our stay was the location. Needless to say I do not recommend this hotel.
