It is a nice and comfortable hotel, at a good location. There are a number of restaurants nearby, good espresso, and a very nice upscale grocery store (Fresh Market) some 200 meters away that matches or beats our local store at home. The deficiencies I noticed was that none of the pools were heated, and there was no associated outdoor jacuzzi, which even budget US hotels have all over the sates. The pools are only 4 feet deep, probably designed to satisfy children only, so swimming is not really an option anyway. The ocean was a bit cold, too, for swimming, so I stayed "dry" for a week (except for the shower in our room). Interestingly, I had to ask the receptionists every day to bring us towels, replenish the coffee, put shampoo into the shower container, etc. - fix some broken lights, etc. - and they were very helpful, always taking care of us, after request.

Perfect stay, kids enjoy at pool and we get an upgrade on our room at a great price.

Property is updated and clean. Staff is friendly. Pool area is great for adults and children. Hotel has direct access to the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Transportation is easy to access. The only negative is that my room was not ready at the check-in time of 3:00pm. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get access to my room. You could tell I was not the only person waiting for a room, lobby was completely backed up and only one person managing room key hand out. Other than that, my experience was very enjoyable.

Pros: Location! Location! Location! Very walkable and safe. Property has beach access and it is very convenient. A few steps outside of the property and you have plenty of food options that will fit your budget. There is an OXXO right across the street which a plus for me as a traveler in Mexico. The property is clean and staff is VERY attentive. I really want to acknowledge the pool staff, they are NON-STOP and work very hard to get to every person. The pool area was my favorite. Three or four pools to choose from. This was an adult couple weekend getaway and the spa services really amazing and worth every dollar. The food was so good. I recommend aguachiles, tostada de marlín and tacos gobernador. Cons: Several clubs are right next door and music ended every MORNING at 4am, but it wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed every melody. I think the vote should really work on separating family occupied units with children. We were on the 7th floor and the room adjacent to us had a crying infant that was louder than the music, extremely annoying and not romantic at all. Overall I recommend this hotel, it met all of our needs and I would definitely book again.

The hotel has amazing pools for the family. Great location but it becomes a nightmare at night due to the club next door. LOUD music till 4;00 am almost every night. The only one night it was quite, was so to cartel taking over Sinaloa and there was a complete shut down of city. Upgraded to beach view…very nice but city view rooms are sleepless nights to remember.

Terrible service. Staff never answered the phones. Our room was cleaned once out of the five days we were staying at this hotel. Never had clean towels. This hotel is poorly managed and a hot mess. I would never stay here again or recommend to family or friends.
