I'd recommend this property as it is beautiful and is centrally located in the heart of México City, but there are some incidents that occured that I was not happy with. I had an incident happen on the property where my vehicle was scratched while parked on the property. The room division manager assured me that she would find a resolution to this matter. I left the property on July 1, 2024. She was suppose to reach out to me that evening either by email or phone, I have yet to hear from her. It has been 3 days since I left the property. Im going to assume that maybe because im a foreigner she figured she'd be able to brush me off and not deal with my issue. This is unacceptable and shows the type of customer service she renders to her guest. Lastly, this hotel is not family friendly. They have a pool and they have children hours from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. I took my 9 year old daughter during those hours as that is the only time she is allowed to be in that area. With that being said, one of the pool attendants came over and asked that my daughter lower her voice volume as she quote on quote said " from 12-4 p.m. are considered children's hours." Made no sense for her to make that comment as we were there during those hours. My daughter was not being obnoxiously loud as I would of corrected her, she was simply being a 9 year old child. Like I mentioned earlier, I would've enjoyed my stay if they had better customer service.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to book the Marquis Reforma Hotel in Mexico City for a family spring break getaway, and I was not disappointed - my family's experience was one of the best we've ever had. The staff (especially the concierge Jose) was super accommodating and so nice. The cleanliness of the hotel and our room was beyond our expectations. The food (room service and restaurants) was excellent. We had an upgraded room (higher floor) that featured a wrap around terrace that was such a nice surprise. The weather was perfect all week long, allowing us to spend many mornings and evenings taking in the sunrises, sunsets, and city sounds (not for everyone). With Mexico City being such a short flight for us, we definitely be returning to Marquis Reforma for future trips!

First family vacay and we were expecting so much more from this hotel as advertised. They had construction that they had not previously advised. Started before 9am and went well into evening, creating lots of noise. Finally switched rooms but it took me calling 3 times and then calling 2X for service to help w/ bags. No comps offered. Had several problems with keys not working in rooms and elevators. Limited food options on-site. One young male valet service was particularly most helpful, but I barely see how this hotel is rated above 3 stars

We recently had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Marquis Reforma Hotel in Mexico City. We had two junior suite rooms for five people (each room had a large king size bed and the room for three also had what seemed like a queen size sofa bed). The rooms were quite large, well appointed and in excellent condition. Arriving in Mexico City we were able to use transportation we had arranged ahead of time with the hotel. The well dressed driver met us right out of the luggage pick-up area. The total fare was US $115 which seemed very reasonable for five people with a fair amount of luggage. Arriving at the hotel, check in was easy, friendly and professional. The hotel is in the best part of town and close to some major sites. The front desk will exchange up to $50 US dollars for pesos each day which was convenient. All the hotel staff we encountered were extremely friendly, helpful and able to communicate with us even though we spoke only a small handful of basic Spanish words ourselves. Jose and Javier were particularly helpful at the Concierge desk. We had breakfast included in our rate and that was a great choice. Breakfast included a range of beverages, a fresh pastry, a plate of fruit and various egg or other breakfast choices. Service was always outstanding. Everyone wore face masks (as did most people in Mexico City) and everything was very clean. Covid tests were available prior to departure (roughly $50 US each). Overall loved the Marquis Reforma.
