LaiLa Hotel CDMX

Staff was ok, and the hotel area was great. However, the hotel itself was atrocious. We couldn’t control the AC, the windows didn’t open and it was HOT! Called the front desk several times and they said they would send someone but never did. The safe also didn’t work! Had to carry our passports with us which also isn’t safe. The room itself was clean, and beds seemed fresh but the carpets were disgusting. Everything is just old. The shower was just a gush of water. Oh and zero amenities, bring your own soap and shampoo. One of the elevators was down, so the wait to just go up or down 12 floors was a pain. The attached restaurant was awful. Do yourself a favor and walk down the street for awesome Mexican dishes. The area is super safe with tons of security. However just stay at the Sheraton down the street. My family usually stays there but in order to save us $30USD, I booked this place. Worse choice! Este lugar no es nada recomendado. Hotel está viejo, AC que el Huésped no puede controlar. Y en su totalidad un hotel muy incómodo.
