The TV did not work. I called lobby and they said the technician will be at the room soon to fix it. He never did. But the worst was that the hotel has not elevators and we had a baby and luggage to carry on up to three levels.

My partner and I were so happy to find this place available last minute. We wanted to find a great spot in Zapopan that would be close to my family. It is located right by the Basilica where there are a lot of great dining and shopping options. The room itself is big and has a beautiful, comfortable, clean and King sized bed. The decor was clean and modern. My partner raved about the great water pressure and hot water in the shower which also had a skylight. On top of all the great features already mentioned this place includes free breakfast. The hotel restaurant is a piano bar so we got to enjoy some live music while eating every day. I travel frequently to Mexico and usually stay with family but I will definitely make it a point to stay here and get some quiet time.

An athletic club occupies the ground floor of this hotel, and if you have the misfortune to be assigned a room on the floor directly above you'll be treated to the sound of free weights dropped to the floor and echoing through the concrete from first thing in the AM until well into the evening. The walls and doors of the guest rooms are paper thin, and children running up and down the halls and continuously slammed doors for much of the visit further added to the noise. The "patio" was the size of a postage stamp and faced a wall in need of patching and paint. The double room had towels for only one guest. The dining room seats around 75 persons, and in the absence of a buffet both the kitchen and waitstaff were unable to keep up with breakfast orders; many guests' orders arrived at the table only after long delay, by which time any hot meals had gone cold.

The room is extremely simple. It was clean, though it smelled musty and needed to be aired out. The bedspread was FILTHY. The worst element of our stay was our breakfast. The restaurant at 8 AM was packed with a busload of children, apparently soccer players, with parents. Management provided only two very poorly trained waiters to serve the entire restaurant. We waited patiently for almost an hour, without ANY attention from a waiter. After an hour we stood up and walked to the manager to ask for coffee. It was only after much of the restaurant emptied out, were we able to order. When delivered, the food was either cold, or was not what was ordered. It was a horrible meal. We will not be back.
