Great place for family’s

They do need more upkeep on their rooms, our AC was no cooling properly and the bathtub would not fill up to bathe our baby but other than that all good overall

The Starbucks drinks were good, although they did not have any pastries. Food at the hotel was not tasty. Our family had to leave the property and Uber to restaurants with good authentic food. The staff was great friendly and also recommended excellent places to see and eat at

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock in Guadalajara. Only concern was upon arrival we were met with an employee in our room doing maintenance work of some sort. He promptly finished as we walked in on him, but definitely left a strong chemical odor. We were exhausted from long day of travel that we quickly left and avoided the unpleasant smells. We aren’t people that like to complain, but this was a tad upsetting. Also, the showerhead portion was disconnected and corroded. Literally fell off. Hard Rock Staff definitely needs to sweep the rooms and verify what needs maintenance and not make those rooms available. Lastly the pool flooring needs help. The actual bottom of the pool is lined with a plastic liner and it lifts upwards leaving you to walk on large bubbles or lose your footing. The floor is not the traditional plaster, it’s plastic liner that’s lifting off. Lastly the actual walk way surrounding the pool is made of fake plastic wood and is scorching hot to walk on. Several families didn’t let their children walk on it to avoid burning themselves. Again, we’re a simple family that doesn’t like to complain or give on-site staff a tough time, but this can be easily addressed by corporate and trickle down some funds to cover repairs. Aside from the room, the staff at the various restaurants were extremely friendly and attentive. The live shows at the lobby were very fun and the crowd definitely enjoyed themselves.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Service at restaurants was horrible. We ate at Sessions and the Cerviceria and the food was horrible at both. The pizza at the cerviceria tasted like a kids frozen pizza. We also booked a tour to tequila through the concierge and was disappointed in the quality of distilleries we were taken to. Although the tours were great, none had actual agave plants on site. We were taken to a random field to be able to take photos with the agaves. Also if you request a taxi you’re given a private driver which is almost twice the cost of an Uber.

When I went to check-in their system was down and it took a long time to check-in. This was contribution to myself and my guest arriving late tot the wedding. In addition the elevator was also having an issue and we could not get to our floor. Until finally the front desk lady helped us. The worst part was that the room looked dirty. The towels were not very clean and had weird stains. There was also some weird mold/grime inside the shower. I expected more but I will definitely be telling my friends and family not to EVER stay here,
