Real Inn Tijuana by Camino Real Hotels

Came with my family including kids. Hotel is clean staff is friendly. Buffet is good in the morning with many options. Felt safe in Hotel. Starbucks right outside. Will be returning.

All around great. Its my go to when I fly out of tijuana airport or going with family.

Tijuana is a popular travel destination that offers a diverse range of dining options and entertainment for visitors. However, it's worth noting that some areas of hospitality in the city could use improvement. During a recent weekend getaway with my family, we stayed at the Real Inn on Paseo de Los Heroes, where we encountered a few issues that left us unsatisfied. Upon arrival, we faced several challenges. The hotel's entrance was difficult for my elderly mother, who has trouble walking long distances and using escalators. Unfortunately, the staff at the entrance seemed uninterested in offering any assistance. Additionally, the parking situation was equally challenging, with no available handicap spots. Every handicap space was occupied by vehicles without handicap tags or license plates. As a result, I had to drop off my mother and search for a parking spot while carrying all our luggage. We also noticed an unpleasant smell, akin to that of a sewer, permeating throughout the first floor, making it difficult to breathe. The check-in process was also challenging, as only one person was available at the front desk, resulting in a long wait time. Although our rooms were decent, we found the beds to be unstable, and there were no towels in the room. We had to request them separately at the front desk personally picked them up and when , the towels were dirty. This lack of attention to detail was concerning.

Never staying here again. The staff came knowking at our door at 1:00 am to ask for payment because the man that checked us in was too busy texting to realize reservation wasn't paid for yet. He woke my family and i and wouldn't leave because he wanted us to go downstairs to take care of payment. Receptionist was a awful as well when i called to verify the man's identy and then proceeded to hung up on me. About an hour later, they tried to process my husbands credit card without him being present but since he didn't confirm the charge, it was declined. When checking out this morning, we spoke to the manager and all she did was apologize and said she would speak to the team but didn't even offer a coffee or anything to calm our nerves from not being able to sleep or calm our 10 year old daughter from being scared. We travel to Tijuana with an adult soccer team and will not be staying there anymore. Worst experience ever.

People were okay , but the restroom had a dirty toilet . And they didn’t have baby cribs. Very disappointed

I booked the Deluxe room, but the beds were very small. It seems they gave me a room in which someone had just left. The bathroom had Q-tips on the ground, hair in the shower, and hair on the beds. Then that night, people started smoking in the hallway. I asked reception to give me another room. All she had to say was that they were all booked. It was late at night with two kids. I had no choice but to clean the room myself terrible experience.

I like the location but the beds are not comfortable anymore and they have the rolling wheels at the bottom that move the bed everywhere. the beds seem to be kids beds

They were extremely helpful assisting my family when they arrived ...
