Hotel Hacienda Santana

This Hotel was Neat, Clean and very Organized. I felt safe at all times. The check in process was easy and the guy answered all questions for us. Not only would I stay here again I have told all my family about this hotel I was impressed and happy with my stay.

It is clean! The grounds are accommodating, the pool area is amazing, perfect for families.

Hotel is far from main town. Lack of police unsavory people. If you look like a tourist they will be watching you. Had someone run up on my wife and act weird felt like a possible kidnap or robry in front of hotel. Don't let guards shack fool you just stops cars not people. Was told by hotel they would deliver second key card but never did. Nothing spectacular about hotel. Liquor store right next to hotel with transients around all the time. Stay with caution not price. Don't travel alone if female.

Location, is very close to my family relatives that I visit in town..

They have restaurant and bar family oriented. Kids can have fun too. Pet friendly.

I didn’t like that the shower is right in the open when it’s clearly a family room . I feel it should be private or have a wall covering the shower .

Great Pool for kids!

The advertisement for the room was (2) Twin Sized Beds. There was a single full sized mattress and one toddler bed in the room. We did not notice it at first when we checked in at 3pm since we were in a hurry to meet up with family for New Year’s Eve festivities. When we returned later that night around 2 am. That is when I realized that the beds were not as advertised. The following morning, after a terrible sleep and still partially hung over from New Year’s Eve family party. The manager at the front counter said that the advertisement was for two bags they said that it was a queen size individual size mattress. This is very deceptive and that if I wanted to prevent this next time. I should contact them directly to reserve the room and not through your website. I will never return to this hotel due to the poor service and lack of responsibility.

The overall experience was great, we loved it. However, the room that we stayed in had an exposed shower (I understand it was a family room) but the shower should be remodeled into its own room (shower room) and the size should be bigger, I'm a plus size and I hardly fit and the shower head was right above and the shower knobs were in the back so it was very uncomfortable turning on the water (which comes out cold first). Other than the shower situation, everything was great. I would stay again if the shower was private like the other room.
