This hotel is absolutely incredible! It has everything our family of 4 needed and even more. Exceeded our expectations by miles. The staff were amazing, polite, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I particularly would like to thank 2 people for making our stay very enjoyable. Henri at breakfast- so funny, helpful and amazing at doing his job and Ankit, who was very kind and generous. There is so much to do inside the hotel. Also, there is a brilliant beach a few minutes walk away and a water sports company that we used twice. 3 hour boat ride is highly recommended. Sauna and an indoors swimming pool were also great. Taxis are quite cheap therefore worth taking. We went to Valetta and Mdina. Both beautiful and interesting. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families, couples and singles. It has everything if you want a passive or active holiday. An Italian restaurant was nice. The location of the hotel is a big plus as well! Breathtaking views!

The sofa bed mattress was very uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep and asked for a replacement, they added a mattress. Playgroup for kids was very poorly organised and I lost my daughter as they moved her without letting me know. Broken cattle in the kitchen and tv not connected to the Internet. Also the sauna was off and the kids admitted to the spa.

Staff and food were generally very good however the hotel needs a refresh as a little dated in decor and bedroom quality too tired. Also kids club small and more activities needed for 7-12 year olds

Private beach was very nice. And the adult only pool was great…especially for those of us not traveling with children

The perfect location for a beach getaway. Mellieha is a more remote area so I suggest downloading the bolt app(similar to Uber) to make zipping around easy and more economical. (The usual taxis don’t seem to always use a meter and decide dates at their discretion) The room had a full kitchen so we made a trip to a nearby market for essentials and snacks. I cannot say enough about PRAKESH the concierge whom helped me arrange a last minute private boat to Comino islands. He planned it within the hour! Our tour the previous day had to skip the island drive by due to weather and we were leaving the next day. Prakash used his resources, found a very kind and knowledgeable charter boat driver who took our family of four to Crystal Lagoon & Blue Lagoon for a wonderful swim, paddle board and just sun time before we had to head to the airport for our flight back to Italy. Thank you!

The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Specious rooms, perfect for families. Also liked the choice of restaurants and bars. Spa & wellness great. Breakfast tasty and good quality but would’ve preferred better variety. Very limited activities for the kids during evenings, but perhaps that’s due to seasonality.

Pluses: spacious room and bathroom, attentive staff, adjacent to beautiful beach, private beach, comfortable, clean, bus stop not too far away Negatives: If you want to visit sites in Malta, the hotel is very far away from some of the major cities and sites; not an issue if you have a car. Could take the bus, but it was inconvenient due to timing, road closures, location (this was in Nov.). Hotel is a little dated, not a lot of food options at hotel or nearby Hotel staff go out of their way to help. But we were disappointed in Concierge - they could not give us best options for getting to certain places and were not aware of certain tours we had found at other hotels and did not tell us about the shuttle from the hotel that goes to certain sites for a fee; we found out on our own. We picked a 5* hotel so that Concierge could help us get around. There are travel desks that offer different tours but they only know what their company offers; would be nice if Concierge could know what our transportation/travel needs are and guide us accordingly. Nota Bene: many options at breakfast/food was above average but not stellar likely because they were cooking for 100s of people. Also, a quiet breakfast inside dining area is challenging because at all times during breakfast there is a lot of noise due to small kids - not good or bad but an observation.

generally well maintained property has everything for everyone including an on site spa, kids activities, large pool, gym indoor pool and sauna. Their private beach is just a few steps away and has easy access to the Aquamarine water sports activity center The Myoka spa is one of the best and so are their restaurants- diverse food options including ‘Essense of India’ Some aspects could improve - the sauna area changing rooms are not well maintained and the service staff at the hotel could do with more training

Stunning views from the spacious suite (with view), pool, and restaurants. Excellent service: the staff takes the extra step to satisfy your wishes. The Essence restaurant is very good, Medasia is good, the other restaurants could be better. Many families with kids, but the kids animation is below the level of similar resorts: no real possibility of leaving the kids to play a couple of hours. As a result, we didn't manage to get to the SPA. In summary, highly recommended! It was a fantastic vacation!

We loved our stay at this resort. The resort was very clean despite the amount of sand from the private beach that must be tracked into her hallways, and it was very quiet during peak season. Plenty of amenities such as a boutique, a convenience store (light food, wine, sweets, pool/ beach toys, etc), spa, adult swim area, kids club, private sunloungers (for a minimum amount spent on food service), and more. The food was really great especially at Agliolio. The private beach is marked by a rope that divides it from a public beach to the left and a sea adventures & sports company to the right. There is a lifeguard stand at the public beach and the tide here is gentle (on non-windy days). The convenience of having the sea adventures & sports company at your fingertips was very convenient. There are plenty of free beach sunloungers with large fixed parasols and tables. The room balcony was very generous with plenty of space for 4 people and the room was spotless with a comfortable bed. We were grateful for the ceiling fan which was a much better choice instead of the AC. By far the most impressive aspect of the resort is the staff. Aleks, Mamata, and Ellaine at Mokka; and Abril and Karen working beachside were remarkable. So friendly, caring, and wonderful at making you feel welcome. Will definitely return.
