Check in was late. Room cleaning was after 3.30 pm while my 2 year old kid was sleeping.

I paid to relax at a resort not a daycare. I would not reccomend the hotel at all due to the fact that the students are not monitered. They are extremely loud run down the halls, play with the elevator. Which makes it hard to go up to go to destinations. There needs to be a more secluded area for the kids to roam around and an active chaperone!! I understand kids are kids and of course they want to have fun and play with their friends, but there are paying customers who want to have a peaceful time.

Salini Resort is overall a great place to stay. All the staff are exceptional and friendly. We were only able to try one of the restaurants and the food there was also fantastic. The place itself is very clean. The only cons are that the room was extremely warm during the day and night, and when requesting for air conditioning they advised that the AC had been turned off for the season as it was cold at night. During the day it was between 23 to 25 degrees and the room felt very stuffy and hot, even at night. They gave us a fan but it did not really make our sleep and overall stay in the room any more comfortable, especially for our baby. Personally, if the AC is turned off for the season this should be advised at the time of booking as this would have been a deciding factor for us with our baby. Lastly the TV did not work the entire time during our stay which is fine as we were not planning to watch TV but would still have been nice especially for our toddler at times. Family garden view room is overlooking sort of a field not garden, and some construction and buildings. Though we overall enjoyed our stay, we will most likely try somewhere else next time in Malta.

The hotel is large and a little impersonal . The main dining room with its buffet meals was busy and noisy and the food quality was average. There are two other restaurants, one an Italian that was good and another more expensive Mediterranean. There was a lack of a la carte food other than the room service menu if you did not want the buffet. The room was large, the sea view stunning and the bed very comfortable but the whole design was cold and basic, hard flooring, white cheap looking furniture. Minimal bathroom soaps/shampoo and shower gel. Our kettle didn’t work, the door had to be slammed to close and the ‘cooler’ was only just cooler than the room. The milk we bought went off in three days. I think for groups it may be a good choice, or for people with young children who want plentiful food and two swimming pools. For a couple it was a little large and busy.
