I really wanted to love this hotel. Location is really great, it’s a 5 mins walk to the nearest train station. Surrounded by beautiful trees and the fabulous Tokyo tower. However, upon check in, I learned that minimum age to use the gym and spa is 20 years old! My kids are 18 & 14, 5 ft.10, and were told they cannot use the hotel facilities. Horrible policy! I understand hotel not wanting kids age 13 & under in those area for liability reasons, but 20?! It’s ridiculous. The message I got was they aren’t welcoming families with kids there. Staffs were nice but not helpful. I asked for a private driver for 4 people to Mount Fuji, a 8-10 hrs day. My quote was originally $480USD. And as soon as I committed to it, concierge got back to me saying that company has nothing available, and the alternative would cost over $1000 USD. So I ended up booking via TripsAdvisor for $525USD for the day, and it was fantastic! We reserved the Garden suite and was assigned to room 207, the room was extremely dated but well maintained. I was hoping for my kids to experience the Japanese Futon experience, but it was very uncomfortable, they basically put a very think mattress underneath a pillow and a blanket. It was very hard for their backs, I would not recommend it. Upon check out, I called if I could get a bill emailed to me and leave early next morning, the front desk guy said no, I have to go in person and check out. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not coming back.

It was almost perfect. I like their bath tab with jet. It will be great if they have laundry facility (for family)

The hotel is a very large luxury hotel, but lacks identity and character. Staff is correct and helpful. Room has zero decoration and furniture style is dated. Amenities are (very) complete and our room even had a jacuzzi. Rooms are very very large for Tokyo standard, making three adults sharing a realistic possibility. Expedia VIP amenities were a miss. Room upgrade was not offered or mentioned and the welcome drink was very hard and awkward to redeem as we were twice directed to the topfloor bar and sent back as our youngest son was not admissible. In the end we ended up in a restaurant downstairs to just have a drink after also being asked to wait first. Surely this is not the first time an Expedia member comes with children. The vouchers were pre-printed so I guess they hand them out regularly. All in all, definitely missed the point of special VIP treatment that it was meant to achieve. Hotel location is good with two metro stations on two different lines within 100-200 meters, unlocking large parts of Tokyo with just a short ride. So it is a good base if you are looking for a large room at a reasonable price.

For Tokyo, HUGE room. American family of three were comfortable with three separate twin (slightly bigger) beds with PLENTY of room to walk around. We even had a small table with two chairs. The bathroom was also very spacious. We had a view of Tokyo Tower and of the temple next door, with a dog park that kept us entertained every morning! Lawson store at the basement level ( a bit of a walk in the conference rooms and wedding planning of the hotel) but helped us out with easy breakfast every morning. Would stay here again! Next door to a metro station, that Google Maps never found. This train station connected easily to a hub that let you go through all of Tokyo.

Chose this hotel due to location and family of 4 (2 teenagers 18/20) could fit comfortably. The breakfast was amazing and was included with room. Would recommend staying here! Service and staff went out if there way to be helpful and accommodating.

Stayed May 11-14 on a 3 day stay in Tokyo. Hotel is amazing. We booked the park suite room and had a room on the 11th floor. Suite was perfect for a family of 4 (2 children aged 9-12), with 2 large twins in a seperate room, and 2 double sofa beds in the othe large room. This suite was super spacious with 2 seperate washrooms and even a little dinner table for 4. Location is central to getting around Tokyo, with a metro station a 5-7 min walk down the street, and the Tokyo tower also a 5 min walk. Overall very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.
