The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

LOCATION: This is the closest hotel fronting USJ, 2mins walk to the front gates. Considering our situation where we have a young kid and we want to get in line early, this is definitely the recommended option! Surrounding this hotel is a shopping plaza w/ restaurants, family mart(?) and the station. Very convenient. Actually all the hotels around here are just as convenient, but this hotel is definitely the closest. ROOM: Stayed at the "Standard City View Twin Room" Upon entering the room we have one immediate impression, it's very big for Japan-standards! It's a bit outdated but everything seemed clean. We got a complimentary upgrade to 3-beds (from 2-beds) w/o asking so that was really awesome! The AC controls were great and blackout curtains were effective. We had front view of the park too which was nice as one of the roller coasters come close to that side. We also were able to see how crowded it was in the morning before we left the room. SERVICE: No complaints here, all the ground staff we encountered were polite, professional, and spoke fluent English. We noticed that there was a staff standing in the middle of the floor looking around to see if anyone needs assistance or have questions. She helped us with our luggage hold and some of our questions; a very pleasant interaction! TIPS: The only thing to note is that they do not offer bottled-water. Instead there is a water fountain on each floor (?) where you can refill your bottle. STAY AGAIN?: Yes!

Great spot if you are visiting Universal Studios Japan. Takes about two minutes to walk to the gate. Lawson’s on the 3rd floor for anything you need. AMAZING breakfast buffet. Small gym (but atleast one is present!). Slightly uncomfortable mattresses. Plenty of room for me, my wife, and two kids (13 and 10). Definitely the spot to stay if doing USJ!!!

It is a very good experience with family. very convenient location with easy access to USJ.

The Park Front Hotel is a beautiful luxury stay for a very fair and considerably low rate price. The large walk in bathroom and tub are great and the room had an amazing view of Universal Studios on the park view side. The lobby and all other rooms are remarkable and the different color elevators are fun for kids. The downstairs dining hall for breakfast buffet was large and well staffed and had excellent and delicious breakfast choices for all tastes. It is also a quick walk to both the park and train station and easy access to taxis.

If you can stay here. Just do it. Closest hotel to universal studios Japan. 2-3 minutes from door to gate. We loved this place. Lawsons right down stairs. Restaurant all around the hotel. Train station 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It’s a little small for 2 adults and 2 small kids. But it was our fault not to get more beds. Staff was friendly too.

Booked this hotel because of how close it is to the park. Got the superior family room with the view of USJ. Room is decent but my god the beds were horrible. Like bad. You’d think a nice hotel would have an ok mattress.. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels around Japan and this was the worst. Also their wifi was trash. So just a heads up if you’re thinking about booking this beautiful hotel. And don’t bother with the breakfast buffet. I pre purchased for the 3 nights I was there and it was very mid. You can eat better at the Lawson right beside it.

Very accessible to USJ, different eateries and the train station. A kid-friendly accommodation, friendly staff, and amazing amenities!

Convenient location, suitable for family.

This property is amazing and a must if you are doing Universal Studios. Staff were outstanding, so helpful and welcoming. Convenience to Universal Studios is unbeatable. Loved that after a super long day we could see our hotel from the park. The Universal City Walk is very exciting for the whole family and a great convenience to have at our doorstep. So many eat, shopping and entertainment options right around us. Very close to the train station. Great view from our room. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Hotel staff were friendly and very inviting. The location was great only a few minutes walk to Universal. Park view was awesome. Definitely a good hotel for families. Buffet breakfast had heaps of different varieties. Staff very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
