Hotel Keihan Universal Tower

Property is right in Citywalk, steps from the USJ front gates. We have a four bed room that was spacious, and we really enjoyed the premium breakfast at the top of the hotel which had wonderful views. Very comfortable and family friendly hotel for our visit to Universal!

This is the best place to stay if visiting Universal Studios Japan. It is literally located within the City Walk, so you have all the shopping and dining just downstairs, including a big Lawson. The park gate is within an easy 5-8 mins walk. Hotel is affordable and a great place to stay with kids. We sadly didn’t get to try the hot spring up on the 31st floor but will make it a goal to do that in the future.

Great hotel to stay at if your looking for something cost effective and also somewhere close to universal studio's. Stayed with my partner and 2 young children. The rooms were enough for a family of 4, and the convenience of having everything in close proximity was a bonus. Would recommend especially for the price

This is our third time staying at this hotel. However, this time is particularly disappointing compared to previous stays. The room felt like it was designed for children, but for 3 adults, it just doesn’t work. 1. The bathroom was particularly cramped. 2. The sleeping area is 3 mattresses placed on a slightly elevated platform without any bed frames. Even with the platform’s lights on, it was a bit of a tripping hazard. One of the blankets was even stained. 3. The sitting area was 3 small cushions on the floor and a low table. Again, probably works for young children, but not really for adults. Overall, the living environment was unsatisfactory.

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time! We had a gorgeous view and it’s insanely convenient to access USJ! If you have a family especially with younger kids this is the best place because you can rest in the middle of the day without missing much. The breakfast was tasty, we loved the crepe machine and fresh squeezed orange juice. We loved the robes, slippers, and PJS for provided. All the staff was so friendly and made our trip a delight. It’s about a 20 minute train ride into Osaka, but perfect for USJ. 10 out of 10 recommend

Great comfortable hotel room, clean and modern. Shower was amazing. Stayed in triple room with the seashell cushions to brighten room. Very close to USJ and city walk. Great choice of hotel stay with kids

Located just right outside Universal City Station and Universal Studios Japan itself, this is one of the best hotels you can stay at if you're planning for a trip down to USJ. It can be on the pricier side, but if you treasure your sleep and want to be right outside the gate just as it opens, this is your definite go-to for lodging. Also helps that your bed is just a 5-10 min walk away from the gates after a long day of queuing and walking (and of course playing) at USJ! Our feet and back were aching, and it was a relief we could rest up without travelling via train again. It was also a nice touch to have breakfast the next morning waiting for us downstairs. Amenities are great, you've got your usual heated toilet seat with bidet, good hot shower and tub, aircon and all. Pillows could be better, but all the staff there were great. Breakfast was good too. It was a continental breakfast with some japanese dishes. Free flow drinks and ice cream. There was a kids section at the buffet that had all kids would ever want, fries, spaghetti bolognese and some other fried stuff (no veggies HAHA) and these tables were thoughtfully lowered, so that they could help themselves to them. A very nice touch. All in all, will be back again for our next USJ trip when the Donkey Kong land opens

Property is basically located at the exit to the universal train station. Lots of places to eat in the precinct and only about 200m to front gates to universal. Would be good if they had 1 bedroom rooms so families could keep smaller kids separate to avoid very early bedtime, but other than that very happy. Great view but rooms don’t really face the park

This is a family friendly place for tourists that want to visit universal studios Japan. It’s quite spacious for Japan hotel rooms and we were able to sleep 5 people. The one thing I’d say is to bring your own pillow because their pillows are flat and filled with beads and it’s uncomfortable. But other than that, we had a great time.

This hotel is very convenient to walking to Universal Studios and the train station. There are lots of places to eat at and shop for souvenirs and snacks. We tried to have breakfast at the hotel but it was closed each time we attempted which was before 8:00. It seemed weird that they were not open. Rooms are nice for a family more than 4 which was the problem we had when looking for hotels in the area.
