Very close to train station and buses. Nearby park and train museum and aquarium are convenient for families with children

Great place to stay if you have kids. Close to the aquarium, railway museum, and a big park suitable for kids all ages. The park has great cherry blossom, which is a nice surprise. It seems like a family spot on weekends for locals, as I observed on Sat & Sun. The room is not big but decent sized for Japan, clean and comfortable, the free public bath is great too. It’s not walking distance to busy shopping areas and restaurants, though had a family Mart and Starbucks. It is 1 station away from Kyoto station so still considered accessible.

hotel is close to many family attractions and the subway station, making it easy to get around when traveling with a child.

Appreciated the top 6th floor overlooking Kyoto Tower with Umekoji park view on my right and the children play downstairs at elementary school grounds too! The convenience store and Starbucks next by also!
