Hotel Emion Kyoto

Out of all the hotels we stayed at for our Japan trip, This hotel was the cleanest and most friendly for our kids. They even put up guardrails on the bed for our kids and offered kids bags upon arrival which had some slippers in them. We enjoyed the public spa. We really liked that there was a bus 300 that stops right at the hotel doors. We used this to get to Kyoto station on our last day. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again.

A truly excellent hotel, fairly large family rooms, fantastic breakfast and helpful staff. Easy to come to Kyoto station (train every 15 minutes, recommend to buy an IC card). Only laundry room use was a bit cumbersome, everything else was top notch. Great value for the money, would definitely stay there again.

This was an excellent experience. Hotel was clean and big for Japan. Emion was close enough to all the shrines we wanted to visit. There was a near by park for the kids to run around. There were clean PJs every day and really good face and hair products to enjoy. Would totally recommend this place.

Great hotel for family!

The hotel and rooms were excellent. Comfortable beds with enough room for a family of four to spread out. The hotel was I. A great location with a JR Line station about two minutes walk away that allows us to get everywhere we needed to go for sightseeing.

It’s hard to believe I can afford my family to stay at such a lovely place. The entire place was immaculate and service was amazing.

If I could give 10 stars I would give it to Hotel Emion. Close to everywhere. The Kyoto Aquarium and Train museum is literally 4 mins walk. The 1st and 2nd floor of the hotel are shops and restaurants. Around the area are good restaurants too and 7-11 on the corner of the hotel. It’s less than 2 miles from the Kyoto train station so our taxi/uber is less than $8! I love love the sauna I am there after a long day of walking around. The room is being cleaned everyday even if you don’t request for it. The rooftop with 360 view of Kyoto is a great facility too and a bar/snacks by it. Staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family who are planning to visit Kyoto, Japan. Thank you Hotel Emion for a very comfortable stay. My family enjoyed it.

What a fabulous stay. Our family enjoyed the ensen several times. The rooms where laid out beautfly for 4 adults and 3 children.
