very family friendly hotel with close proximity to kyoto station. very unique stay - loved the cleanliness of the onsen, and lots of amenities provided ( popsicles, yogurt drinks) and felt like a more traditional japanese experience. breakfast food was excellent as well. staff was very helpful and accommodating

Very comfortable place for a family trip

This is an unbelievably beautiful experience! Impeccable service, beautiful property, private onsen, family onsen, sukiyaki dinner and Japanese breakfast in enclosed private room and will definitely be back!!!

Somehow this place managed to be large, yet very cozy! I can't say enough good things. Shoes locked up the duration of your time indoors. Everyone walking around in PJs provided by hotel. Free late night ramen (exactly when you need it!), free ice cream, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Massage chairs! A nice onsen, although it was always crowded in the evenings and... this is my only complaint .... people were noisy in the onsen to include yelling kids. That's more of a guest problem than a hotel problem and people need to be mindful of onsen manners. The staff was AMAZING. Nothing but friendly and extremely responsive. They helped me with luggage forwarding and was very grateful for that. I will recommend this hotel to anybody. Thank you for being so welcoming.

Shoes free through out the hotel was a great experience for the kids, the free massage chairs outside onsen was great, enjoying free ice cream and yoghurt right after bath enhanced the experience. All you can eat noodles after 9pm was neat. All the hotel staff were excellent! The rooms were somewhat small, did not bother us as we end out spending most of the time outside of the rooms.

Their service was wonderful. The only thing I was a bit uncomfortable about was that babies also take hot spring bath without wearing diapers. Why not make a special bath for them? Some might feel worried about sharing bath tubs with babies.

This hotel is beyond my expectations, excellent staff, quality breakfast, comfortable hot springs, we have the only good words for this hotel and definitely will come back when my family comes to visit Kyoto next year!

Hot spring, perks such as ice cream, night time ramen and massage chair. The staff were outstanding. They even put our family rooms next to each other without us having to request it. I love that. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Kyoto.

Our stay qas invredible. Great location, extremely eco-friendly, best breakfast, wonderful onsen. Rooms were not hige, but perfect for the 4 of us. The kids each had a twin and husband and I had a queen. Would come back!!
