APA Hotel Keisei Narita-Ekimae

They only had smoking rooms available which is not visible to the customers when booking and when I made a reservation, it automatically informed me that I have requested “smoking room” which I have never ever done in my life, especially traveling with my children. If I knew from the beginning that non smoking rooms are not available, I would have never reserved this hotel as we are non smoking family. As soon as I got a confirmation email with a smoking room request, I contacted the property right away to fix this error and they told me to check at the front desk but what they told me at the front desk was their employee made a grammatical error and non smoking rooms are not available. Thus, our family had to suffer from an awful oder throughout the entire night. Not sure how “smoking room request” thing happened to me since I have never done that in my life and I totally think since all non smoking rooms are sold out, they automatically changed the request on their own to make more people to reserve their hotel, and informed customers when checking in. Wasted my entire one hour of evening (very tired) talking to them but didn’t get any compensation. I feel that always the customer has to sacrifice and the business should make their own profit no matter what. Lastly, this hotel looks way different than the photos. It was absolutely too small and dirty (of course with a full of cigarette smells) with such a poor customer service. Avoid this hotel if possible!!

I went to check in and they informed me that they only allow two adults in the room and told family including my kids to go find another hotel. Unacceptable and extremely disappointed with the entire experience.

We booked this last minute to stay close to Narita airport. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with very friendly staff we arrived around 10 pm and we’re exhausted from traveling from Kyoto with a baby. Hotel had tooth brush, hairbrush and water bottles …. We immediately took a hot shower and jumped into a really soft bed. We wish we could have used the hot spring but we needed to get sleep. FYI no tattoos in the hot spring which is normal. It’s about 25 min ride from Narita terminal 1 $35 by taxi or free shuttle at certain times only Outside area was a little weird but we arrived late at night sooo that might be why 8/10
