Art Atelier

The room was very clean and called a family room. A small sitting area with a twin bed and main room with a king bed was well appointed for three people. The hotel was difficult to find from the street, because the hotel sign was partially missing and not lit up. The breakfast each morning was a nice touch. The desk staff did not have dinner recommendations when we got in our first night. Suggesting that desk staff knows local restaurants that are within 5 minutes for good, pasta, seafood, gelato and pizza. We were tired and didn’t want to go far with a 6 year old. The desk staff did give us a map. The hotel was walkable to the Duomo, the art galleries, shopping and close to the the train station.

My family's first time in Florence and the staff, named Mario greeted us with such great joy and personality when we first checked in. He had joy and mind you this was a late check in, after 9 pm and he still treated us as if we were the first guests that came in. Hotel has an excellent character. Next person we want to commend is Simona, who handles the breakfast and makes AWESOME Cappucino. Her attention to detail, joy and pride of her work and in what she does exemplifies in the service she provided me every morning during breakfast. I would definitely come back and stay at this property. You will be treated well.
