Sempione Hotel Ristorante

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was super helpful & courteous. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

If you are looking for a stay close to Malpensa Airport and/or outside Milano, I do not recommend this hotel. The location is not good, it is next to a very transited avenue. It has no elevators, AC doesn't work and their reservations are generally non-refundable. Me and my family had to leave the hotel last Thursday after staying for an hour ( from 4:00- 5:00 pm) because it was so hot it was impossible to stay. Considering that the hotel didn't had what it offered, their manager declined a refund with using a list of lame excuses. Terrible costumer service. For 20 more Euro we stayed in the Dolce by Wyndham that had breakfast and airport shuttle included. Definitively not recommended.

My family, including my husband and three teens, easily fit in a cute room and everyone had their own bed. The restaurant was delicious and convenient and we got a shuttle ride to MXP the morning of our flight. It was a blessing to not ride the trains in Milan to the airport. The staff was very friendly.

The shuttle service from Terminal 1 and to the Terminal the next day was great. The hotel is clean. Enough beds for a family of 5. We liked the food at the restaurant at a reasonable price. However, the ceiling is somewhat low (like Cape Cod shaped). I wonder how tall customers manage to sleep on the beds without bumping to the ceiling if they’re not careful. The shower area is also very narrow. Overall it was great for us.

I had trouble with the reception about the pickup point from the MXP Train station. The instructions were fuzzy at best. The shuttle was prompt and efficient. Book your return to airport as quickly as possible because they time in 30” intervals. The property itself was a 3-star property with the attention of a typical family owned establishment. The restaurant was good. The handicapped room was adequate but the shower area could be improved.

We came for an overnight stay to break up travel with 3 children ages 5, 7 and 9. The airport shuttle was great- only issue was that I couldn’t easily dial the number to let them know we’d arrived from my uk mobile phone even with the extra code. Not sure why. So an online function to do this would have been easier (we were still fine I asked somebody in the airport to help). Transfers were punctual and efficient and took about 15 mins. Room was perfect for our needs and clean. Staff were lovely with the kids and hospitable, helping with bags etc. dinner cost about 85 euros for all 5 of us including drinks (would have been a lot less but hubby insisted on the steak instead of pizza). All in all very happy and would come again. Thankyou for having us.

Cosy little hotel. The whole hotel looks like it has started with a restaurant and then upstairs became hotel rooms. Thus, the hotel room we stayed (2 adults and 2 children) is so little, almost no place to turn around. Old and need renovation (you have to lock the door with the key otherwise it will vender open). Reception staff are always smiling but having problems with understanding English. Bathroom and beds are clean, nice warm water at the shower. Breakfast was simple but good quality, especially the espresso (top quality of the coffee beans). Free transfer back and forth to the airport within 10 min. A practical hotel for just crushing for a night.

My family of 5 enjoyed a quick overnight near Malpensa Airport. Would stay again. Friendly staff, fantastic experience in restaurant for dinner, and nice breakfast choices. Also enjoyed a stroll through the backstreets behind the hotel towards the village church.

Please, do not be fooled by the advertisement. This is a family owned business, not the hotel in the sense we know it.. Very old, modern times did not hit this place.. Book proper hotel, this is a s.. hole.

This is a family owned and operated hotel and they are the friendliest people you will ever meet. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is worth the visit as evidenced by all the locals who come to eat daily.
