Wonderful experience! The entire hotel, including our room, beautifully and tastefully combines European flair with modern ammenities. The entire staff is welcoming, gracious, efficient and available to their guests 24hr per day. I would suggest their breakfast service as it made us feel like a part the family. Fellow guests were all very personable as well which just added to our positive experience. Most all of the staff is multi-lingual and available to provide information on sightseeing and navigating the city. We recommend this property to family and friends and will definitely stay there upon our upcoming visits to Rome!

Kira and Stefano were diligent and caring hosts. The rest of their team was also very kind and helpful. We had a fabulous stay and really enjoyed the property’s central location. We would definitely come again and recommend the Hotel Oceania to all our friends and family.

This was a quaint family hotel. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff saw to our request of hot chocolate and I'm sure they would do what was needed for our comfort! We did have a problem getting TO the hotel for our transportation! And had a little problem locking our room but got help for that!

The room we received was possibly the worst in the entire hotel, but it still should not have been as poor as we found it. While the bathroom had been renovated, the rest of the room was in very bad condition, with extremely old and dirty wallpaper, doors, and windows. The room's door was also damaged, and we could hear everything from the corridor outside, indicating poor sound insulation. The room's air quality was dreadful, with virtually no ventilation (not even in the bathroom!!!), extremely high humidity, and a moldy smell. Additionally, there was noise from the street due to the window being so old and damaged that it barely made a difference whether it was open or closed. Despite being a family room, there were inadequate surfaces for our belongings to left on and there wasn't even a single available electrical outlet to charge our phones. When we complained about the room's condition, noting that we chose this hotel based on the pictures and reviews, we were told that the pictures were only samples. Regarding the bathroom ventilation, they informed us that because it was the weekend, they could not find a technician to come and check it. As for the lack of electrical outlets, we were advised to unplug one of the bedside lamps to use the outlet.

This hotel was tucked into a great location- walking distance to termini station and the metro, Trevi fountain, and Spanish steps. Actually we walked most places since the hotel was so centralized. Clean, ample sized rooms with TV (with Netflix access), well appointed and so comfortable. The beds were amazing and the room was quiet! A few improvements needed in bathroom- shower leaked and there was no shelf in the shower but no big deal. The staff were the best- friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. It felt like we were staying with family in some ways. Kira knew our daily “order” of cappuccinos and croissants. They helped with transportation and recommendations for restaurants and sites. Would stay again and highly recommend.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, which of course was wonderful. Slept well due to quiet evenings, there’s an elevator if you have luggage, welcoming & helpful staff, and love that they have 24hr reception. It’s a perfect stay for a great location with the essentials. Charming family-owned boutique hotel that we will always return to when we visit Rome!

If you want “bells & whistles” amenities in your hotel room (microwave, refrigerator, etc.), this may not be the hotel for you. If you want a ‘family’ atmosphere, historic hotel with well-kept rooms and a wonderful staff, this is a great choice. It was a great location for the historic sites for our 9-night stay.
