This place was paradise! This was my first time to one of these QC resort properties but now my husband and I will incorporate a stay in one of their locations each time we travel over to Europe. Great for couples and for wellness and peace. Not sure I would bring the kids or grandkids, as is more adult oriented.

This Hotel and Spa stands on a Roman port built in 100AD! They built an amazing thermal water treatment facility based on the ancient Roman Baths. It’s fabulous! And a must to experience. The facility is surrounded by old trees and vines including a beautiful canopy made of grapevines with grapes hanging, absolutely gorgeous. At the end of the afternoon hundreds of cicada start singing and walking around the propriety is so pleasant! There are also lots of roses win honor of the family that built the site. The rooms are big and the bathroom is fantastic. A whole set of products are available to the guests in their rooms including 2 facial masks, hand creams, facial moisturizers, hair treatment, etc… and they smell divine! Also included in your experience is a happy hour by one of the many pools. They serve a drink a beautiful tray with delicious little treats, cheese, olives, nuts, breads, etc. dinner is in a beautiful room overlooking a luxurious garden; the tables are decorated with fresh flowers, service is impeccable, the food is organic and artisanal. The desserts are not only delicious but beautifully plated. Going to Rome this is a must see and hopeful stay. And even though it’s only 5 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport, you forget that you’re close to anything. It’s secluded and I couldn’t hear the airplanes.

The property is about 10-15 mins away from the airport. Cost me 26 Euros from the Airport and 40 Euros to the Airport (not including tip). There is a Hilton at the airport if you’re looking for convenience however it is not at the same level. The issue of this property is that the staff try to provide good service, which I appreciate but they just don’t have experienced staff to do so in most cases. They didn’t honor their commitment to upgrade us to a better room and spa service. After they told me that a better suite was available for extra and I told them that based on their agreement with Expedia they need to upgrade us if a room is available, they refused initially and provided a list of reasons that contradicted one another including a strange one that they have no one to open the sofa bed and set it up for our kids. The quality of the sofa bed is very poor comparable to that you would find at a motel. After a lengthy conversation, they finally agreed to the upgrade. The Spa service was not honored and they said that they left a “face mask” that my wife can use. The upgraded room had huge flies. The rest of the room was very nice. Remind you this is their best suite. We were at the hotel for one quick night. The breakfast was average but acceptable. This is unfortunate because this property has the potential of being great they just need to recruit experienced staff that understand better the hospitality business.

This was an absolutely fabulous spa and hotel facility. The room was comfortable and very clean. Dining was great and the spa facilities world class. Have already recommended this to family and friends. It is located right at the airport, so not ideal for touring Rome, but it is perfect for recovering from or preparing for a long flight or even a wonderful weekend out.

The hotel came with a lot of rules, which were never told in advance. You have to pre make reservations for all dining and the food was small proportions and way overpriced. The gnocchi was truly inedible. I will say that the massage was by far the best I have ever had, which saved the experience. The random couples making out everywhere got to be a bit much, especially with kids wandering around.
