Hotel Isola Sacra Rome Airport

Great place for my family after a couple weeks of traveling throughout Italy. Close to area attractions like the beach, shopping and McDonalds. My daughter loved the pool, the breakfast was great and the front desk staff were world class. We were able to check in early and the coffee vending machine was legit. The rooms were a decent size, water pressure in the shower was fantastic and overall we had a very pleasant stay. I wish there was a coffee machine in our room however everything else about our stay was wonderful.

Great location for an overnite the night before your flight. Staff, condition, room quality and lovely grounds, garden and pool. Would definitely go again in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

BEST hotel breakfast ever! There were 3 in our family traveling and they don’t have big beds like we’re used to but they accommodated 3 twins. It looked funny at first but we all slept great. The grounds are immaculate and lovely and the staff was friendly and gracious. I wish we had more time to stay here.

The property itself was nice. Just a few things to note… We booked the shuttle to the airport for the next morning at 8am. My family had 3 rooms and we all checked in and asked for the shuttle at the same time, for the same time. Then the next morning, we were informed that it was written down as 8:30 for 2 of us, but at 8am for the third person. They did call a cab for us so all was fine in the end. So if you book the airport shuttle, double check they wrote down the correct time. There is one restaurant on site that you have to make reservations for (which I wish I knew before checking in) and the earliest reservation we could get was 9:00. I have a seven year old and we had to get up early the next day so that was rough. Then we get down there around 8:55pm and the place was practically empty but they still made us wait until exactly 9pm to seat us. We’re also told by another couple who was down there having drinks that the place had been fairly empty and that plenty of tables were open from 7pm on. We waited about 40 minutes for our food (simple things like pizza, pasta, mixed salad), with one person in our party waiting almost an hour for cacio e Pepe. We had all great experiences in Italy with restaurants and servers, but the folks here were rude. Just something to know/expect.

I enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the grounds and swimming pool, which were very pretty. The staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly and the buffet was very good. Our room was clean with a large bathroom (we were in a family suite on the ground floor). Unfortunately, the AC was problematic and did not fully cool the room. Had we been there for more than the one night, this would have been a problem.

The extraordinarily friendly, helpful folks behind the counter on the evening of our stay (5/1) went above and beyond to help us out in a variety of different ways, and made several phone calls to help us book a restaurant reservation (we did not want to eat at the hotel on our last night in Italy)....They made us feel welcome and taken care of after a long car ride and were so kind to our children. For this reason alone I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

We needed to be close to the airport for an early flight. The hotel was close and far nicer than we expected. The accommodations for our family (3 rooms) were better than expected. The fireworks for the New Year held the 4 grandkids spellbound despite the late hour.

We booked this hotel for our last day/night in Italy to be close to the airport. Beautiful grounds and our family suite was very spacious with two separate bedrooms and balconies. Very good restaurant on site, breakfast included and the restaurant and our room overlooked the pool area. Would definitely recommend.

We liked the family suite, breakfast and airport shuttle. Reception staff were good in person. We definitely did NOT like their unclear and unprofessional written communication, rudeness and lateness. We had asked some questions in writing before arrival and their replies showed that they either didn't bother reading our messages or could care less about providing accurate answers in a courteous way. The restaurant staff were rude and dismissive - inexplicably, they had no idea that you should greet guests when they enter instead of simply ignoring them while they stand there waiting. After we waited patiently for someone to acknowledge us, we had to ask to be seated - only for them to say no we are full (the empty tables showed otherwise but by then we were not going to give them more of our money anyway). We walked a few minutes down the road to La Locanda, which thankfully knew about what it means to serve customers and we had a good meal. Finally, the pool was 30 minutes late opening- which, to guests who had to leave mid morning to catch a flight, is problematic. Stay there if you want to, there are some good aspects but be warned that they have some unprofessional and rude staff.

Large clean room with huge modern bathroom. The pool was perfect with easy restaurant dining nearby. They provided breakfast box as we had early flight which was nice. The shuttle service was very reasonably priced to airport and the ride was short- only 10 minutes. Hotel is very convenient and relaxing for our last night in Rome before a long flight back to states for our family.
