Lovely family stay with great breakfast, aircoach outside door. Good parking and clean rooms . only downside rooms were very warm and we left the window open. The room was to the front of hotel so we heard all of the eircoach dropoffs

Room: Bathroom door handle kept coming off in your hand if you closed the door. Room door would not lock. Bar: Went for a meal in the bar and kids menu is very limited. Asked if my 2 daughters could have beans with their meal. Was told in a rude manner that we don't do beans. Beans were available for breakfast the next day so not sure what the issue was with getting beans for the kids meals. Reception Staff: In the evening I was going for a walk and asked where the nearest shop was. Was told that the hotel was in a commercial area so the nearest shop was 20 minutes away but was given no directions so had to Google where the nearest shop was. Next morning with a different member of staff, Victor couldn't have been more helpful and was very good with my daughter.

Our stay was disappointing. The room was a bit warm when my family checked in making it uncomfortable during sleep time, especially for my two kids. We called the reception and asked if there's a way that the temperature inside our room be cooled by air-conditioning but unfortunately, they said there is no aircon inside the room. There was only a small electric fan on the table which we used but it was not enough to change the room temperature. We wanted to rest comfortably on our visit to Ireland that's why we chose to sleep on a hotel but we honestly didn't get what we've expected. There was a bin under the table but it was so small to hold rubbish that we threw in so it overflowed. There's also cobwebs hangin on one ceiling corner. We will not come back to this hotel anymore.

No aircon in room. There was a fan but still was so warm. Empty choclate wrappers under bed. Had to ask reception for remote control for tv as wasnt one in room. No option on menu for kids soup and mash bowl, but the chef "agreed" to make ot and was charged 10.50 for it. We prebooked parking for 2 nights and got ticket validated at reception. Yet had problems getting in and out of carpark.put notice om door for full room refresh. Yet bed covers were not changed and coffee cups not washed, nor no packets of coffee or milk left in room. Had to ask cleaning lady for these. All this is very surprising for a clayton hotel.

Hotel was average looking a bit tired, food service was non existent as nobody approached us with any kind of service for food or drinks, front desk staff were friendly but meet nobody else, very noisy on the corridors early Saturday morning 6-7 am ??? There are a few people living there in full time residence banging doors and kids running around, one night was enough

Had a lovely stay. Room was spacious for 2 adults & 2 children. Beds were really comfy and plenty of clean towels. Had breakfast at hotel, lots of choice. Hotel is in excellent location as avoids city centre traffic and 2 minute walk to luas which took us to city centre for a few euro each.

Kitchen closes at 10PM and there are no local food options and the bar sells nothing but crisps!! Nice hotel, we stayed for the rugby as did many others. There were signs saying to book dinner and breakfast in advance due to the high occupancy. When the match finished it was raining so we were lucky to get a taxi and came back to the hotel for food only to find the kitchen closed and nothing available except crisps. Group after group arrived as did families with young children only to be told that there was no food available. It's really not acceptable and I will not be back, nor will I recommend the hotel. Also I thought there was a storm outside at there was a noise of running water all night, turned out to be the radiator in the room!!

I felt unwelcome from the moment my family arrived. There are a lot of drug dealers in and around the hotel trying to sell me things. My room wasn’t cleaned from 2 days , I had to take my own bins out of the room. I paid 530 euro for 4 days and it wasn’t worth it . I was in Ireland for only a few day visiting family. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
