Maldron Hotel Merrion Road

My family stayed 1 night, lived the room, especially large bathroom with excellent shower. The hotel itsself was very nicely decorated, maintained, nice staff. The breakfast however was with old style bain maries so the food wasnt hot and that isnt pleasant for Irish breakfast.

We had a great time. The hotel was just what we needed although there are a few things that could have made the stay better. We are a family of 3 (inc. teenager) and the room was snug for the 3 of us and our 3 small cases (lack of hanging and storage space). The biscuits were not replaced each day! Teenager complained! We had forgotten toothpaste and reception could not provide us with any and directed us to a vending machine which only contained sweets and chocolate! Breakfast was great. Used the bus to get into the centre easily, stop firstly outside of the hotel. The DART is convenient too but wasn’t running over the weekend.

The hotel was new and was clean and comfortable. Good price. Convenient to visit family. Nice staff Great to be able to park under the hotel -felt car was safe

They had the most comfortable bed and pillows! It was quiet and we got a good night’s rest everyday. The breakfast spread was varied and affordable. I’d definitely return and recommend to friends and family. It was clean, beautiful with proper art on the wall and the service was great! Overall, my rating for this hotel is 5/5.

I recently stayed in this hotel with my family and we have a brillant time. The rooms we're very clean and the food was excellent.Will definitely stay again

This was clearly a new hotel and everything was in perfect condition. However, my partner left a pair of headphones in the room that we could not immediately return for as we had to get home to collect kids. We've had no luck getting the hotel to call back or to see if housekeeping found the items.

Hotels.com advertised the hotel in the wrong location. It was circa 1km away from advertised. There was no apology for the mistake at the hotel and it took 20 minutes to check in the 1 family in front of me. The rooms were basic, plain and unwelcoming.
