Maldron Hotel Smithfield

Room accommodated 6 adults need to be family

We stayed for 4 days at this hotel as a family. Our stay was good overall. We did show up at 6am on 12/27 due to an overnight flight, and the hotel wasn't open, after I had been told it was open 24/7 to receive us when I emailed ahead of time. Apparently it hadn't re-opened yet after Christmas. A nice employee let our family wait in the lobby thankfully since it was freezing & raining out and nothing in the area was open. We were allowed an early check in and I was very grateful for that. The staff were kind and helpful everytime dealing with them. The Junior Suite was very comfortable both times we stayed (Rooms 607 & 609).

This hotel was awesome! I received an email 3 days before giving the easy option of checking in online. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even with a system glitch that they were able to correct quickly. The family room was already set up for us and was plenty of room for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children).
