Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo

On arrival to check in the gentleman who was checking my family and I in decided midway though checking in to stop ans totally ignore me and try to check another customer in and scan their key to the room but it turned out it was not the person he thought, i was so annoyed at this first stage , feeling second class, very little information was given about the hotel as i wasnt wearing a fancy clothes . Upon entry to our room i found the hair dryer to be melted from over heating , the bed for my son was very uncomfortable. I felt staff were just there for the wealthy tourists. The only member of staff that went over and beyond was the guy who helped us get sorted with a table , he was so professional and understanding. Food standard in the the bar was very poor , food coming out cold no excuse. Just felt like a poor person .

Arrived at hotel at 2:30pm for 3pm check-in, room wasn’t available until 5:30pm!!! Dinner took over 3 hours due to slow service. 4 very fed up children!

Lovely hotel, will stay again. Breakfast was great, fresh, plenty of options and spacious. Room and bed were bing and comfortable. There is a empty fridge in the room which was great to bring and chill children’s milk etc.

Great hotel great staff very relaxing place good for family’s and couple definitely would return

From start to finish was fabulous me my wife and 2 grand kids thoroughly enjoyed staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much for them location was great for touring about weather was a bonus no rain for four days my grandson had an accident with his teddy bear and it ended up down the back of the television in the room the staff managed to rescue the teddy and the staff put this on radiosonde blu Facebook which was fab as my grandson has a very famous teddy

Lovely stay with family. The staff were very friendly. Great pool and so close to Sligo and beaches.

Our room was comfortable. The bathroom was not clean. The shower has mould in it and around the sink. The swimming pool is extremely grubby, limescale on the edges and on the tile. Changing rooms were big spacious and clean. Hallways outside rooms extremely noisy at night, hard to get a young child to sleep. No real areas to relax in lobby/bar. As you have to wait to be seated. The gentleman who was in charge of breakfast was fantastic! He was very attentive and great with kids. Breakfast had a good choice/selection and was of high quality.
