Springfield Hotel

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights over the Easter weekend. I was visiting family in the Lucan area so the hotel is ideally located. The staff at the hotel were very polite and friendly, especially the breakfast waitresses. The public areas of the hotel are looking a little tired and old fashioned. The room we had was one of the family suite type rooms on the top floor. The room was very comfortable and roomy. However, there is no excuse for the sticky couches and the grubby bathroom. The shower curtain was torn and the grout on the floor tiles which should have been white was black all around the edges. I do like the Springfield and I would stay there again but it could easily up it's game and have rave reviews.
