Hotel was great. Water smelled like rotten eggs but room was great for me and my 2 kids. Breakfast was a great variety minus the scrambled eggs. Would stay again!

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the junior suite, offering stunning city views. Its clean, contemporary design was immediately inviting. The room's spacious layout, the comfort of the bed, and the ample bathroom space impressed us, though the shower could have been more sizeable. The lobby's impressive scale, combined with the concierge's genuine warmth, made a memorable impact, and the reception staff adequately fulfilled our needs. The hotel, situated a bit away from the town center, was conveniently accessible by car. A notable drawback was the intense whistling of the wind during a winter storm, which disturbed our peace for a night. Better communication regarding housekeeping service pre-orders would have been appreciated, as would the convenience of bedside USB chargers. In conclusion, the hotel captures the city's modern essence, offering contemporary comforts while missing traditional elements. Its quality and service overall met our high expectations.

I’m in awe to receive an email from the Property stating “too many requests”. I have a copy of my email and have requested the following: 1. Safety concern: adjacent rooms for my teen kids, and 2. prefers on a higher level floor rooms. Not a single request has been granted, worst yet, housed in an old worn out room with no view. Ask if it’s worth $1500 for 3 nights…( literally 0 night sleep) Noise is bad ( insulation) and sleep was awful besides the 24/7 daylight due to summer time in Iceland. So I highly suggest you check out northern Inn or silica hotel if outside Reykjavik, and if downtime check out Hilton Nordic, or hotels nearby the marina, there are better options and par prices, walking distance to restaurants, attractions, and shopping.
