Moxy Frankfurt City Center

Hotel was fine, but not for us. We're a family of two adults and a child under ten. Rooms lacked what we assumed were standard features: safe, fridge, space to store clothes, etc. I can see how the hotel would appeal to a younger crowd, lobby had music, cool design, drinks, games. But we wanted a hotel city center to unwind and the lack of amenities made it challenging. Staff were friendly but almost too relaxed.

The staff are very rude and beyond disrespectful. No sense of urgency no consideration of how a person could be exhausted from a flight. Nothing! That hotel was advertised to be an LGBTQ. It is NOT. Very chaotic check in, a bar inside a desk. Like are you making me a drink or checking me in? Other customers were pissed too. How do did they get approved for that horrible design? They are homophobic, disrespectful, and careless. I asked for an adapter to charge my iPhone since I don’t have the European one, they wanted to sell it to me for about €15. One of them literally said I have an adapter but I won’t give it to you it’s mine. A child moxy hired a child. Then him and the receptionist talked in German about how I desperately need an adapter then told me oh we don’t have one at all. Mind you, I don’t speak German I’m in a foreign country and city, don’t know where south from north, nothing. I had to go out in the street to beg random strangers for an adapters. The randomly strangers were kinder and compassionate way more than that horrible staff. I could’ve walked in the wrong Neighbourhood, could’ve got attacked, could’ve missed my flight. Many wrong things could’ve happened without an access to a cell phone. The fact that they challenged me and treated me this way shows how low this place is and how horrible they are and don’t care about their customers.
