Ruby Louise Hotel Frankfurt

The comforter was not big enough for two people- it barely went to both edges of the bed. My husband and I made it work but the kids found it more challenging. The rooms are small so if you have a lot of luggage, you can’t move around well. The breakfast price seemed outrageous for what was offered. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a place nearby to grab breakfast early in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the staff were all very friendly.

Let me start by saying that the staff are extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is located in the PERFECT location. However, if you’re looking for something more family friendly or a hotel with “traditional” hotel customer service then this may not be your hotel. My room had no proper ventilation causing me to have extremely bad allergies for 2 days, rooms don’t have a telephone and communication between management and guests could have been better. I booked the hotel to spend news years because they said their bar (beautiful by the way) was open at a first come first serve basis - doors opening at 9pm. So when me and my partner showed up at 9:30 to an “empty” bar we were so excited to be seated however the employee told us it was reservation only-we were confused and upset. We told him about the sign in the elevator saying otherwise …he could not make an exception leaving us to figure it out last minute. It was unfortunate and if I had to stay there again- I would only stay for about one or two nights tops.

Very small rooms not ideal for a family of 1 adult and 2 children. Access in and out with stroller very challenging. Ideal for single person travel, great small dining and bar area.

This was a unique hotel and did take a little getting used to. Perfect location in central Frankfurt and we really enjoyed it. Not a luxury hotel for those eating that but efficient use of space designed by Rothschild daughter.
