Novotel Suites Paris CDG Airport Villepinte

Had to stay one night due to global outage and flight cancellations and the room was very accommodating for a family of three. Very impressed. The bathrooms Reminded us of a cruise ship.

we arrived late at CDG airport and the check in was super easy with friendly staff greeting us. The room was clean and cozy for our family.

We could not fault our stay here. The room was extremely spacious for a family of four, beds were comfortable, shower was great, facilities in the room were excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. Reception staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Parking was easy. And it was a very reasonable price. Would recommend.

The AC was not working throughout the trip and my kid got sick with the heat. The staff was not very helpful

Very suitable hotel for family stays. Big rooms, very good breakfast. Kindly staff. Transportation between city centre and the Hotel is difficult. Suitable for one-two night stays.

The room for family was very small than the pictures. It wasn’t clean properly. Not a four star hotel at all

Pros: conveniently close to the airport (only 12 minutes away). Beds are nice, firm and clean. The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other, which is really convenient. Also cool that the shower and tubs are also separate. Great for families with small kids who can't shower just yet. Also, you don't have to wait for the bathroom when one is in use. We didn't eat at the buffet but there was one. The lobby looks cool to hang out in as they had a foosball. Close to the buses and public transportation venue. The room for a family of 4 was very spacious. Has air conditioner in the room. We stay one night with two teens and it was totally fine. More then one night might not be so great. Close to the mall. Walkable but we took an Uber as it was raining that day. Cons: There's really nothing around there, so I would only stay there if I wanted to be close to the airport to catch an early or coming in late. Don't take the airport shuttle if you have more than 3 people in your group. Uber charges less. You do have to book Uber the day you need it. If you reserve an Uber ride it's twice as much. Plus the shuttle can only drop you off at Terminal 1, so if your flight is at another terminal you will have to make the trek there. Uber will drop you off wherever you tell them to. They recently up their shuttle pricing. It was $3 but now it's $5 roundtrip...even if you only need it one way, it's still the $5 pp. Noisy if you have the window open, but sound proof if you have them clo

Nice clean comfortable family suite - we all slept well and breakfast was good

Staff do not even answer the phone when you call from the room. Shuttle bus service doesn’t exist. Sent 2 messages through Expedia with no response. Plus sent an email based on their instructions and no one answered. Staff work with private drivers to scam people . I asked for a taxi van the night before, but when I came downstairs on Saturday 4 am, the person that finished my checkout told me that there is no van taxi and there are 2 taxis cars that I have to take instead . Up to that moment I was ok, but it turned out that the 2 cars are privet cars and didn’t even had a meter. One of them took all of my luggage and the second one my family and I. Just before arriving to the airport the driver told me that they work with the hotel and I have to pay 30 euros for each car for a total of 60 euros. I told him that didn’t make sense to me because I paid 20 euros for taxi van the day before with a meter. The driver argued with me and said that he doesn’t care I have to pay the 60 euros 30 to him and 30 to the other driver to get my luggage back. He said this is the arrangement he had with the hotel. My wife and I felt unsafe and I had to pay. I trusted your hotel staff to get me real taxi , but I felt that I was taking advantage of. I’m still on vacation and I was planning to send an official complaint to Novotel hotel and Expedia when I get back to Canada. My office in Montréal is close to your hotel and I always stay there and always have a good experience.

The hotel is close to the airport which is a plus, but that may be the best thing. Room was fine / nothing special. The big issue is shuttle service. The front desk told us where to catch the shuttle from the airport and the exact time and we waited and waited and it never came. Every other hotel had multiple shuttles except Novotel. Another family had the same issue. So we ended up getting a shuttle to the wrong Novotel and had to pay $23 to taxi to the correct one. In the morning, we planned to take a scheduled morning shuttle earlier than planned to give us plenty of time at the airport. We were assured it would be there and would get us to the airport. And yes, 2 shuttles showed up which could not accommodate the people waiting. So we were left there. No ride. The front desk phoned one shuttle to get it to return but if they hadn’t done that, we would have missed our check in because airport traffic is horrendous. So if you want convenience, I would recommend staying at the airport, like at the Sheraton rather than at this mediocre off site location that caused us more stress than anything. To make matters worse, one Novotel shuttle was parked at the hotel all the time. Ridiculous that some hotel employee couldn’t arrange for it to be driven to accommodate guests.
