Novotel Paris Roissy CDG Convention

Great stay two nights stay! Nice for the kids (yound and older) to play downstairs. Fitness and pool in great shape and a very good restaurant to eat. Receptionist Cloé was very helpfull and provided a great hospitality service. See you again Novotel CDG!

Good location, spacious room. The main lobby was bright and welcoming. An area was designated for children with foosball and books. Our hotel room felt outdated. Room has a very old blow dryer. Wooden hanger broke upon contact. Front desk never issued us an invoice despite the fact the we emailed them a couple of times after our stay.

Close to hotel and shuttle service offered. Pool closes a bit too early. Seems like a good family hotel.

Property served its purpose. Very busy, lots of families, some wear and tear but served it’s purpose for an airport hotel. In hindsight should have spent the last night in Paris and taken an Uber right to the airport. Save your money on the shuttle and take an Uber directly to your gate. The shuttle was 20 euro (2 adults/2 kids, 4 carryon sized bags) and dropped us off at the main gate where we still had to trek to our check in area. Highlight was being able to walk to the little town of Roissy, about a 7 min walk away. If you can walk to the town and eat, the on-site restaurant is expensive with a limited menu. We went to the grocery store in the morning and grabbed croissants and coffee while the kids played in the park.

Good experience overall. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30am after a Trans Atlantic flight, with 2 exhausted kids. The desk rep woman did above and beyond to arrange us an early check in to the room. We got the room at noon instead of 3pm. .

-Horrible Cleaning Staff, nocking doors, shouting, making noise at 6 Am. -1 Bottle of Water for a family of 4 having rent a suit. -Wanted to charge us a breakfast as it seems their morning employee showed our room number as present at the breakfast while we were out of the Hotel.

The site says there is a kidsclub and a playground. It is a few toys in the lobby. The pool is small. Beware that there is no food option between 10:30 and dinner as the restaurant is closed. They offer a vending machine. All choices contain meat. Restaurant choices are very limited and do not have vegetarian. The staff is not overly friendly. Very disappointed for a Novotel.

We liked the friendly and efficient person who checked us in, plus the pool and the kids games area. We didn't like the damp floor in the doorway of our room, the slow check-out process and the shuttle bus to the airport.

Coming from a lovely hotel, this was going from the sublime to the ridiculous. Waited over an hour to check in while trainee figured out how to check in an airline crew. Give an inferior category of room to what was booked. Had to argue with desk clerk about whether 1 person should have more than 1 small pillow. Hair in the shower. 1 set of towels in the bathroom and 1 set hidden in a cupboard. Small frig contained one bottle of water. Housekeeping tried to enter in morning even though 'do not disturb' sign was on. The airport transport was a joke! Pay the extra and take a taxi. Couldn't use pool because it was full of unruly children. The burgers in the lobby bar/restaurant were good, albeit expensive.
