Courtyard by Marriott Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport

Ok haven’t reviewed hotel since paper era but : - no pool at hotel makes for deceptive advert ; pool 3 min walk away in industrial park Pool shuts at 7pm. Landing image hotel site is the pool, which swayed the click on site. - pickup shuttle seats 6 & comes every 20mins or so ; no signage at airport and staff on curbside of vague use and no queue administration so it’s a free for all ; meant we only identified the shuttle 30 minutes after being directed to wait in the wrong spot (100m of available curb for shuttles); this means that as you greet the next shuttle as it arrives with six seats for your family of four, entitled and inconsiderate hotel guests saunter out of terminal and fill up seats or insert their baggage into vehicle and hop into your seat as you continue to stack your bags with driver. Again - no signage. - staff a little understaffed which meant no cocktails or drinks at dinner - and they were out of Chardonnay- so comptroller consider what HR staffing more would net you - tv stopped working in the morning with wonky channels and narrow list. - Phone never worked. Broken light switch. Friendly front desk staff. Lovely wild garden at rear of property

Very nice room, great size for a family of 4. The only problem was that one of the two AC vents was not working, so the side of the room with the bed was slightly hot and the other side with the sofa bed was nice and cool.

Easy check in, had some excellent food in their restaurant. Slept like a baby and had a full filling breakfast. Booked a shuttle which was on time. Second time used this hotel at the airport did not disappoint.

When we checked in we were informed that the suite we booked was not available due to maintenance so they gave us too rooms; not ideal but fine. Then the pool was closed also for maintenance. In all fairness, maybe I missed it when we booked it but was not aware of that before we got there. We took the kids for dinner after a long day of travelling and it took for ever. We had to wait over 30 mins for our bill and our server never really came to check on us. Even after I asked for the bill from the bar staff it still took another 10 mins. On top of that, we ordered the kids gnocchi on the menu and we got penne with a rose sauce... Not what I expected from a Marriott.

This was a disappointment. We expected a Marriott brand hotel would have had higher standards for cleanliness, service and eating options. The hotel restaurant had nothing fir children to eat. They had a cheese pizza but said it was past the time it found be ordered. We were eating at 6pm. We tried to use Uber eats and the hotel said we had to eat in house. So our children just ate French fries. Not very filling. Our bathroom was gross. The ceiling had mold and the shower tile had soap scum and had not been cleaned. The shuttle was a joke. Only one stop at terminal b. We had to haul all the way to terminal A. The shuttle needs to drop at all three terminals. I would not recommend this hotel for families. It was a huge disappointment!

This was the worst experience I have ever experienced at a hotel. Upon arrival the open area was filled with crying children and frustrated adults due to an apparent “system failure “ which would not allow them to process reservations. Staff acting dismissive. After several hours I slept on the floor.

I was quite skeptical about staying at this property after reading many bad reviews. I stayed one night with my husband and teenage children (they had their own room). We had a great check-in experience, efficient and friendly. Had lunch on the back terrace restaurant, again friendly and efficient service by the wait staff. Out rooms were a good size and had everything we needed. The washroom was clean and had ma y towels and even washclothes ( which are rare to find in Europe for some reason). The shower was hot and water pressure great. Even the hair dryer was decent. We were missing one pillow upon arrival, asked for another one and received right away. Check out was also quick and the shuttle to the airport was on time. You do need to make a reservation for the shuttle though upon check-in. We ate supper at a lovely little local Italian Restautant - Casa Nostra that was a 15 min walk from the hotel. Good food, great service and excellent prices. It is a fine option for an airport hotel.

The room and bathroom are not suitable for families. Air conditioning doesn’t work. Bathroom door doesn’t work. Clear glass everyone can see you showering from bathroom. Toilet crammed in one room.

We had a pleasant stay last summer of 2022 with my family and was able to grab a meal at their restaurant from a long and tiring day. Clean hotel with a shuttle and accommodating staff is a plus. We’d love to come back and stay in this hotel again.

It had some simple but vital amenities for kids like foosball and an outdoor chess board.
