Citybox Tallinn City Center

Had a very enjoyable stay. The junior suite room was clean and spacious with a lovely view of the harbour. Excellent facilities for guests -,laundry, kitchen etc. Breakfast at Lou Lou was amazingly good and of high quality. Close to the old town etc. would visit again and try other City box hotels

I’d only stay here again if it was for one night, as they only clean your room if staying more than 4 nights. It’s promoted as self serve. So if you need more towels and toilet paper etc, you have to keep going down to reception. Defeating the purpose of being on vacation. The towels are also tiny and would barely dry a toddler. There are no bar fridges or even a tv in your tiny room. They instead have shared common areas where there’s an overpriced vending machine and some microwaves and a fridge. Essentially making this a fancy looking hostel masquerading as a hotel. There are laundry facilities but it will cost you 20 euro for the privilege. The dryers aren’t very good and don’t dry your clothes fully so you are then left with no choice but to pay another 10 euro if you need to use again. It rained the whole time we stayed in Tallinn, which is not the hotels fault but they also profit off you in this scenario by charging you to borrow an umbrella. The only positive is it’s a great location.

The structure is central, there were four of us in a family room which was quite large and clean, but in my opinion you cannot stay more than two nights, as the hotel is essential, there are no wardrobes, there are only a few coat hanger, no television and minibar, furthermore the room cleaning service has a supplement.

Fine hotel for a short stay and on a budget. It's as if there is no much staff, everything like check-in and check-out is on a digital kiosk - with a very bad UI. Being a techy person I can't imagine my boomer parents dealing with this. It's clean but basically no amenities, for instance, not a single bottle in the room, and only "coffee-style" plastic cups. The partner "Loulou" restaurant has very junior staff, with 0 sense of initiative, especially regarding the fact that hotel guests are eligible for discounted rates.
