Hotel Metropol

What a Disspointment. As everyone can see, there first picture of the hotel is this pool picture. Guys pls don't misguide your self with this as it is not free and charge 15€ for each 3 hour per peroson. The only reason I booked this hotel to use the pool as I travel with children and it became to such a dissapoinement finally as i always book hotels with pools to make sure my kids can enjoy the pool. Another funny thing happen at breakfast, where there were no sausage at all at the breakfast and when I request it, the girl said they are out of stock and it was saturday morning which is the bussiest morning in the week. But later, they filled it with sausauges means it is very rude as they completely purposely lied us and there were no curtosy to make it correct. Another point, we kept the door with the notice to clean the room, but they only change the towels and not even swept the floor. If you have travelled the world before, dont book this hotel because you will dissapoint to max. But if you travel first time then it will be fine. But our rest of experince at Tallin was great and we didnt let ourselves down because of the hotel.

We stayed (family of 4) only 1 night but have also been before. For us a good and clean hotel with very good location, walking distance to shopping mall and many food places nearby. Small parking area so check in advance that you have place for car if need. Good breakfast for adults and children. Also can use the spa for extra payment, which was nice. We took family room which was big enough, even with 2 big beds. The only negative for us was the that the sound proof of the hotel is not so good.

Stay clear if you want to sleep at night. The vent shaft in the room was connected to other rooms so I 'enjoyed' a loud 1am family argument and a constant cough on another night. I stayed there on my 50th birthday as the hotel location was central, but the hotel paid no attention to me at all (I placed a special request when booking). Other places I've stayed on my birthdays have always surprised me with something, a bottle of wine, fruit platter, room served breakfast, truffles, spa access - these are all cheap things to do but create good and lasting memories. Metropol did nothing in 4 days despite of me also asking the reception three times. Instead, they left my room uncleaned on my 2nd day, only replaced the towels. Most receptionists were lovely but one blonde extremely rude. Will not stay again.
