Atami Escape Resort

Its a great place to stay, you get a spectacular view of the beach and ocean. The pools are great, the beach water pool is nice, restaurant is a good, but the only thing are the rooms. The rooms need an upgrade and are in need of new plumbing. The water doesnt drain quick enough from the shower, leaving it to turn into a pool. I have stayed there a few times now, I would have thought that would have been fixed by now. Other then that its a cool spot to stay with the family or friends.

Had an absolutely lovely time with family at this resort. Great value for your money, imo and not too far from the airport

Super nice stay! Staff was super nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with family since it has a pool for children and has a very family friendly atmosphere.

Pictures on web are true. Walkway/stairs down to private beach is safe. Main pool in middle of property was clean. Umbrellas set up for shade. Pool towels must be requested at front desk. Actually, everything has to be requested at front desk since there are no room phones to dial 0 for assistance. Visited for 3 nights. During my stay, I lost my family heirloom ring. I spoke to front desk staff which contacted Margarita, on site Supervisor. She requested my email to keep in contact should any additional update arise. I checked out and left the property. My heart was heavy as I checked into my other hotel for the remainder of my vacation stay. To my surprise, My emails and correspondence were responded to on a daily basis. The day before leaving back to the US, Margarita wrote me and said she had found my Ring!!! I am highly impressed with the diligence her and her staff displayed. Everyone was on board with looking for it. Front desk and other departments would continuously give me updates on any additional info. Even if there was none, they would address me and say they would keep searching. That helped tremendously. I am so thankful. The staff were remarkably helpful. Truly grateful that Management showed deep concern and interest in helping me. They did not shut me out or dismiss me or my urgent situation. I appreciate the attention to all means of hosting on premises. We had dinner at Pelicanos all 3 nights. Seaside view is spectacular as well as the marvelous sunsets.

After four days my family and I were extremely happy with our decision to stay with Atami. Great price, far and beyond my expectations on environment, the breakfast had this amazing salvadoreños touch “Loved”. The rooms were simple, but the only place we could find with separate rooms where we could stay close to our kids, but had the privacy we needed for our vacation. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time. I have to point it out the amazing people who works at ATAMI, so polite, nice and always there when you need it. The place really have everything you need for a good family vacation. I am from Dallas, but I am ready to go back.

We stayed two nights at Atami. The staff was incredible. Everyone is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are very simple which could use a little more improvement but they get the job done. The rooms have AC & a nice shower included. There is no fridge which would be helpful in the future. The breakfast was hands down amazing ! I also enjoyed the food at Pelicanos, and the view there is phenomenal. I loved going there at night to relax and listen to the waves. I would recommend my friends/family to visit this hotel due to the amazing views, the beaches, & the resort is well kept. The only thing I didn’t like was the natural pools that over look the ocean are not as pictured. I personally did not use them as they are not well kept. There is algae growing in 2/3 to the point The water is dark and looks dirty. There is 1 pool which looked okay but not enough for me to use as it also seemed a little dirty. I was looking forward to using them also which made me kind of bummed.

Staying at Atami was amazing excellent view, very family oriented, staff and management was very friendly, and calm-relaxed atmosphere. I loved that the resort provided an excellent and responsible tour guide - taxi (Billy flowers) for pickup and drop off from airport and also providing tour trips for us. The only thing I would suggest is placing a small refrigerator in rooms specially is family rooms.That was a huge inconvenient for me since I traveled with 3 year old.

Place is beautiful, rooms need some love, water from shower will not drain and from the bathroom sink was very little coming out ..their was only one electric outlet far from the bed .. food was good little pricey but good . Beach is what is going to woww you ..loved it every minute..it was definitely worth it and yourself or family will love it .
