Acantilados

6 days five night bday trip with family in January and from we stepped our feet into the hotel there were problems. The good: beautiful views, beautiful scenery, beautiful landscaping, magical sounds of the waves, care free access to hotel grounds, the food was good. The bad: they wanted the money for our entire stay up front while we were used to paying upon end of stay, no problem we got them their money but they were willing to kick out a family with infant children. Ok got past that. Found out on last day they were charging one of my infant for his breakfast the entire stay bc we ordered him food. There is no real beach access unless you walked through other hotel properties to get to it and it’s not an obvious open access. Though the beaches at el zonte and surf city were decent. There was sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Theres nothing really around or close by except the 15 min walk to surf city-which is awesome btw. Wouldn’t rebook for just views nothing much greater to pull us back.

Great for couples and family. It’s not for the party scene! This is a great weekend getaway. Amazing views.

I loved everything!! The views, The service, it’s very clean. The waiters and workers are so kind and are always smiling!! My family enjoyed our stay can’t wait to go back!!👍

I went to Acantilados to celebrate my birthday with my family and I had an amazing time. I schedule a massage on the day of my birthday, and the experience was very relaxing. However, I wish the spa area had a private room to change with a robe and everything, since they do the massages on a open area where people can see you (see pic). Also, the food was amazing and every dish we tried was delicious. My overall stay was great!
