Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana - All Inclusive

We booked a room with one king bed, and two book double bed. After complaining that we only had one king bed, we receive a roll in bed. We had one kid sleeping in bed with us one kid sleeping on the rollout bed after three days I discovered the room next-door to ours was also supposed to be ours. The hostel staff seemed very surprised that we didn’t have keys to it, and had no idea that the room next-door was also ours, in addition to this when you arrive, nobody tells you how to hotel works where to find towels what restaurants there are what time are open they tell you to use the app the app has the wrong hours and does not allow you to order room service our room keys have stopped working every single day at least once a day. With all the choices of hotels, I would try somewhere else.

We were there with our 5 year old grandson. It was perfect for him. The new waterpark is open for kids. The resort is quiet and a nice size. The vibe is very relaxing. The service around the pool is great, especially if you tip well. Our butler Roberto was helpful when we reached out to him but with 30 families per butler, we didn't see him unless we asked for something or ran into him. We are used to the butler service at Sandals, and this didn't compare. I'm really not sure you need a butler at this resort. There are not a lot of beach chairs around the pools, but lots of chairs on the beach. They do a good job of cleaning up the seaweed. Unfortunately, it was too windy and the water was too rough to play in the ocean. The only complaint is that the water in the room taps is not potable, so you have to be careful to brush your teeth with bottled water.

This was a very good all-inclusive resort for families with kids. we enjoyed the pool, the food, the beach and the service was very polite. Overall a great experience. Their night entertainment, specially the beach party, was also a lot of fun. Thanks a lot for making our family tip memorable

Actually hotel location and pools are good. It has a big pool kind of lazy river style. Unfortunately, drinks are too sugary and not fine like other all inclusive hotels . Food is ok especially meats, but other things and breakfast are not ok. Room cleanliness and condition is not good (full of hair on the bed linens when we checked-in and my friends at the other room they had to change their room because of that situation and they said new room’s jacuzzi jets dont work). Spa is too pricey. They are using “preferred” upgrading program which costs about extra 500 usd per week per room and it leads to discrimination among the hotel quests (some restaurants, bars, places and rooms are dedicated for preferred customers then you cannot use them) . Hotel also has air condition problem in some indoor and out-door areas such as World cafe, sea grill restaurant and lobby are super hot, even you cannot eat or stay at there. Just 10 mins ago I asked this problem to restaurant manager at World Cafe and she was making a joke to me with shaking the tray to my face for cooling. About kids club. We are satisfied with their job and thank you for them. They are really taking care of the kids all day long. Staff, I cannot say they are rude, but they are super unhappy and you can easily feel that they are doing their jobs unwillingly Communication with them is also big problem if you are not speaking Spanish Night shows from the hotel entertainment is very limited I dont recommend

The hotel has mold in bathroom, porch and livingroom. I have asma and it took a toll on me at this stay. The food outside our room stayed for over night every other night started to smell and flies on it. Booked a massage throughout online from hotel services and it never was scheduled on their end . The drink we drink from fridge half way were returned into the fridge insted of fresh ones provided. The food thats included in hotel some of the bread and meat had a weird taste and smell to it. When we placed our orders multiple times the staf had gotten the orders wrong and we would have to wait for the food to come corrected. We tried to extend a room for 1 hour due to having 2 small kiddos and they told us absolutely not. There isn't any customer liniancy nor courtesy, i didn't feel like a guest i felt like i was in a communist hotel . I asked the front desk for the regenal managers e mail , was ofcourse denied they stated i can contact them at front desk and go from there. We witnessed 2 guests yelling at the hotel managers and staf while being escorted to their rooms . Seeing this the first couple of days it wasn't eazy especially infront of my children the profenity that fallowed was unreal. The money we have spent and how we were treated and everything we had to encounter isn't worth it.

Great resort. Pristine property and rooms. Plenty of food options and great quality. Very friendly staff (especially to kids). Good entertainment options in the evening. Would stay again.

Beautiful property. If you have kids, this place was great. Food was average.

The hotel is beautiful very clean and the staff very friendly. It's more of a family hotel very quiet so if you're looking for a party hotel this is not for you

I am a mother of two kids and went on a girls trip to this property. My first trip without my children after 7 years. I was super excited but ended up being super disappointed. Unfortunately the staff was very rude they told us to “shh” several times. We would wait at the restaurant for a long time before anyone even came over to us. We would go to the rooms around 5pm and they wouldn’t be clean we would need to call and wait for someone to clean our rooms. We won’t be coming back.
