Beach Bungalows Los Corales Club & SPA

Please do not book here! The pictures and descriptions are not at all a true representation of the resort. In fact, the name listed on Expedia isn’t even the actual name of the villages. My wife and I planned and booked this place on Expedia and had our three children with us. Once we arrived at the airport and found our charter driver, we learned that no one there even knew where the resort was located. When we arrived at the actual ‘Los Corales Resort’ we were told we did not have a booking there. We had to walk through that resort then down a dirty alleyway to find the bungalows. The manager (Miguel) didn’t even know we were coming and was surprised to see us. He ended up taking us to a room - it was filthy dirty, the beds were broken, windows were broken, the oven looked like something out of a horror movie, and it simply felt unsafe. The pool is nothing like the photo either. It was very cloudy and there wasn’t a single chair or table around it. We asked for a refund, and after spending 2 hours on the phone with Expedia the manager signed our bill he had and said total refund would be given once his boss comes in (I have that on video). We wanted to get away from that unsafe environment before it got dark, so we booked another resort and called an Uber to take us. End story, Miguel’s boss refused a refund, so we got stuck paying for a place we never stayed in. What an absolute nightmare. Please stay far, far away!!

It started with a Horrible host. And it got worst as days went by they booted my rental car. Where the host said I could park. I had to pay a $60 fee to remove it. The washing machine /dryer did not work. We were unable to use the safe because it was locked when we called they never showed up. Electrical shock when you use the Microwave or the exhaust hood over the oven very dangerous. I unplugged it and kept my kids away. No hot water. The pool was closed for the first two days when we arrived. The apartment looked nothing like what the pictures showed. It was very disappointing no one to help. I won’t recommend this property to anyone.

Really great stay! Myself, my husband and kids enjoyed our stay. It’s clean and well maintained. They even have a cleaning pack included in the apartment so no need to buy washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets and multipurpose cleaner and a dishcloth...The cooker is good, cutlery, pots, pans and dishes are clean. The place is lovely and location is not far from the buzz... you do not need a car. Our accommodation was good! The swimming pool very clean and garden well maintained. The staff are very friendly especially in the restaurant!
