Radisson San Jose-Costa Rica

Our grandkids loved the expansive pool options. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was outstanding!

I have three families member who came by to say hello - and they want to go up to my room for a min after having dinner at the hotel restaurants. They hotel charged me $169 -. I think that was excessive and abuse

We are always happy to stay at the Radisson San Jose, Costa Rica. We are treated like family, like this is our second home. Everyone greets us by name and with a smile. We are treated well. The rooms are spacious and always clean. The beds are comfortable and we always get a good nights sleep.

This hotel is great. I came with my family from New York, USA, brought 2 young kids with me and we felt safe. Safety was my main concern. The room was huge and clean. The location is great, totally walkable to the center of San Jose. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Jose.

It feels like coming home when we stay at the Radisson San Jose Costa Arica. Everyone treats us like family and they always greet us with smiles and are very helpful!

Staff and cleanliness and food was amazing. Only complaint is the thin doors between rooms. You can hear each others conversations like your sitting right next to them. Not much privacy at all. Got very mad at a bunch of highschool kids and their coaches for being too loud and yelled in their face. Other than that is was perfect. And ohhhh yeah if you leave the resort there are mid day robberies at knifepoint I have heard about just passed the gate where police show up and tell you they will never find who robbed you and that your lucky to be alive with a smile on. Maybe purchase a knife and defend yourself and be stuck in costa rican jail becayse your a violent north american ? Lots of great options ;)

I had booked a "king size bed" and when I checked in they said I would have to wait a couple of hours for that size bed. They said they had a room with 2 double beds available, I was tired I took it. The did give me an upgrade to their premium room. The front desk staff needs better training. They told me my Costa Rican currency which I had left over from November 2021 had been replaced and was no good, not true ! The old currency was good until the end of October. Breakfast in the mornings was excellent, good variety and changed every day. However all other meals lunch and dinner are way overpriced and they have a limited menu. Horrible wine menu and outrageous prices for the wines. Shower pressure was great, I wish all hotels had this type of pressure. Taxi's that are waiting in front of the hotel are "rip off artists", charge 3 times the normal rate. Hotel Safe with good security. I had to leave at 2am and the staff at night said they "could night check me out at about 9:30pm ? After a vigerous complaint they did check me out and give me a receipt. A couple of young kids at night not wanting to be bothered to print a receipt for me.
