Great service; nice room for family. Loud music at a neighboring property until 1am but not the fault of the hotel

Very nice guardsman , I would say get airport transfer from elsewhere because they wanted to charge 115 and we found it for 90 . Room was clean , staff was nice - we only stayed 1 night as it was the closest to our family in reserve Conchal

The family room on the second floor is very outdated, sad looking and not maintained. The mini bar items were missing on our first day, not replenished at all, the cleaning/housekeeping didn’t happen, the washrooms don’t look great, there was nothing to watch on the TV. I felt that for getting a bigger room, it was worse. The rooms on the main floor looked way nicer and it looked like it was a different hotel. Also, mugs had cobwebs on them, just very low cleanliness which threw us off. The guard offered the best customer service- always smiling and welcoming us- so friendly. Otherwise everyone else was ok.

What I liked was the the staff and willingness to help and satisfy your stay. What we did not like was for the prices you are paying not much you are getting but a free limited specific daily breakfast could be a challenge if you’re with a family and are staying for a week. No activities or amentities to enjoy with family only a place to sleep that’s all you get. Any activity or tour you want to book thru the hotel you will charged double the amount then if you was to step out on the street and purchase tours from nearby agencies

We were on a trip to Costa Rica with our pregnant daughter and son-in-law. We got to the Bahia del Sol Beach Front Hotel after having AMAZING stays at hotels in La Fortuna & Monteverde. I chose this hotel because it was on the beach and in an area that didn't look as noisy as hotels in Tamarindo. This is a nice hotel, but just not as nice as I was expecting. It wasn't quite as clean. The grounds were beautiful. The beach is protected and good for swimming, but the sand is darker, not white. The sunsets there were gorgeous, but it's not a walkable location, unless you're going to Hemingway's next door. There is no real town for walking or shopping. There's an excellent restaurant across the street for breakfast. We had dinner there the first night and something we ate/drank made two of us sick. We spent the next day in bed (which was comfortable at least). The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but didn't seem perfectly clean. It was a good place for kids or couples, but NOT a good place for walking/shopping.

It is a beautiful property. Lots of lounge chairs. Nice pool and great view of the ocean. We rented the family suite. Unfortunately the oven didn't work and limited cookware, so cooking in the room was not an option, but we wanted to cook part of the time.

Wonderful 4 days. Boutique hotel with enough people that made it enjoyable. I think that the total is 80 when full but may be wrong. The grounds reminded me of some of the British colonial hotels you would find in India, Singapore or Asia. Manicured garden/lawn to the beach. If you go be prepared to dial your heart rate back close to zero. Very relaxed setting. If you think you know relaxed then dial it back 2 more settings and you have this place. Right on a nice beach which is not too crowded. Reasonable pool if you like that. Nice balance of guests from old to young, families to couples. Great food for lunch with non hotel local options available as well. Staff were the best of the 4 hotels I stayed at on this tip. All likeable, genuine locals that gave the impression that they loved their job.

Horrible hotel, very outdated, nothingblike the pictures online, roach in bathroom, ceiling leaking with no reimbursement, sonk in bathroom not draining, mold by the kitchen sink and alsoon the walls close to where baseboards are as if it had past water damage, smelled musty. I had 4 guests in the family suite amd every day we had to request towels and rags. Break was ok. Scrabble eggs were disgusting. The typico breakfast option was the best. Limited food options. For over 250 a night this hotel csn fo better. Also pool was out of service for majority of our stay. It was filthy but seems slso like they were probably getting it repaired. I wish i could share my videos and pictures. But i will on ig and google review

My husband and I stayed at Bahai del sol for 5 nights and I would go back in a heartbeat. The proximity to the beach, great pool and incredibly helpful and accommodating staff made our stay so memorable. The on-site restaurants and bars had a great variety of food options and we thought prices were good and worth the convenience. Lots of great bars and restaurants within a short walking distance if you want some variety. The staff were a huge factor for us spending most of our visit at the hotel - the beach environment and friendly greetings all day for every meal or drink kept us feeling super relaxed. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming- Rolfie, Kevin, Wilbur and so many more. An on-site massage was amazing (10Xs better than my monthly 90 min) and we got to do an ATV tour that was about 10 minutes away and zip lining about 30. We did not travel with kids but it seemed like a very accommodating place for kids and families of all ages with proximity to activities
