Arenal Manoa & Hot Springs Resort

Beautiful view of volcano. Enjoyed the birds and reptiles and mammals. Great pool bar and incredible breakfast. Did have a cracked windshield in the morning on our rental car. Otherwise lovely visit with family

The staff and service were exceptional - so welcoming and friendly. Our family celebrated a birthday during our stay and the Arenal Manoa staff went above and beyond to make it a special day. We so appreciated their thoughtful touches and very attentive customer service. We'll certainly recommend it wholeheartedly to friends and family headed to that area.

We had a great time, loved the buffet for breakfast. The pools were beautiful. I booked a family room for 4 but didn't realize I had only registered myself and my husband so when I arrived they charged me extra for my children. Seems a little bit odd to sell a room that sleeps 4 and charge extra for the kids so that was a little bit of a bad start.

My family and I loved the drinks, hot springs, very hopeful when booking excursions and the room with spectacular view.

Lovely setting next to the river but our room had poor soundproofing (could hear neighbours using the washroom), thermal pools were not overly clean and the “mandatory” New Year’s dinner was grossly overpriced for what we received. Would not recommend for couples as the resort is far more family friendly than anticipated (children in all pools, even adults only and at the swim-up bar). Overall an average experience and I would not book this resort again.

Good family place. Not 5 star but a pretty property. Comfortable rooms - laid out like a neighborhood of homes.

The staff are super good. When I missed the breakfast, they made me the food/juice/coffee. I even didn’t asked for it, so sweet. I’ll take my family here for another vacation in future.

Beautiful private room and grounds, nice amenities, good breakfast with an array of options. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for our family.

Our stay was OK. For some people it might be great: party by night, then sleeping in the morning. Great pool for kids… which made it not so great for relaxing couple time!… We were hoping there would be more Hot Spring pools, small ones, where couples could get away and have some time, then come back and join the party, the noise, the TVs. however, there was only the one hot pool with the sushi bar, and one other Hot Springs pool,(they said two but I think one was closed??) in which you could also hear lots of noise. So if that’s what you’re looking for, the place is great. But if you want a relaxing, peaceful time, especially as a couple, this probably is not it. At least not in August. Breakfast buffet was awesome. It was clean and we were very grateful for that.

Amazing property with natural pools and variety of places to eat. Service was excellent all throughout and rooms were clean. I would stay at this property again without a doubt. Also, great for families.
