The grounds and property of the resort are magnificent. It's beautiful everywhere you look. The rooms are outdated and badly need renovation. We also had a few creepy crawler bugs--most of which we were not familiar with, get into the room. It wasn't surprising because there is gap all around the door to the room for them to enter. One of the walls in the bedroom was peeling from water damage and looks like it had been that way for quite some time. The pools are very nice, but there are not enough lounge chairs and can get very crowded and loud because there are a lot of families with children staying there. It's best to go early in the morning if you prefer a little quiet. The Spa is nice and the massage room, while cool with a fan, had doors open to a small private deck and the fresh air breeze coming in was lovely. The breakfast is ok, but it gets pretty old after seven days. It's pretty much the same every day with little variety throughout the week. However, it's a great location--easy to get into town with a car or Uber, and it's a very good value, which makes it possible for so many families to stay there. The best part of the stay was the wonderful staff. They were very responsive and attentive and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We weren't thrilled when we first arrived. But we were sad to leave when it came time to go.

My family (two teens 18, 19 and two young ones 5,7) stayed here for 6 nights and loved everything about this resort! Food was good and dinner options were very reasonably priced. The staff was all great, helpful and friendly. My teens loved this resort as much as my youngsters. Great family resort and so close to a lot of tours! We would definitely stay here again!!

Los Lagos Spa and Resort was amazing. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Not only was it extremely clean, beautiful and comfortable, but it was also very affordable. The Staff was always very professional and courteous. I would especially like to give especial thanks to Alejandra, the receptionist at the front desk, for going out of her way in finding the perfect accommodations for my family and I. Also, to Alex at the restaurant bar for his fun, professional and courteous service.

Beautiful relaxing property! Clean and spacious. Enjoyed the views of the volcano, hot and cool springs, with bar and restaurants, and ziplining. Everyone in our family of 9 from 78 yrs to 2 yrs old enjoyed our time here!

We loved staying at Los Lagos Spa and Resort. We stayed there with 3 children (13,6,3). They loved the pools - especially the thermal pools. The resort is large so there is a shuttle to bring you to breakfast, the pool, the front desk. They are very fast once you call to request the shuttle. Breakfast had a great variety of food and good local options. They had great drinks at the bar and great bar good while eating at the pool. My kids loved the Virgin Pina Colada in the pineapple. Service can be slightly slow but they are very busy and working as fast as they can. Lots and lots of drink requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with amazing manicured tropical landscaping and great views of the volcano from our room. Our kids love the waterslides and all of the hot and cold pools to swim in! Our hotel room was simply decorated, but comfortable bed and air-conditioning. Our family loved eating at the poolside restaurant and the morning breakfast buffet was quality! Staff was very friendly and professional! All in all a very good deal and we would come back!

The property was beautiful, our room faced the volcano. The children enjoyed the water slides and I loved all the different hot and cold springs throughout the property. Service was very friendly.

Very nice clean place to stay. Everything is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The only down sides was the shuttle to take you to your room took a long time to get to you so many times we had to walk a very steep up hill to our rooms. There's also no close bathrooms by the pool so that was also a long walk, especially with kids that like to tell you last minute they need to pee. I also wish they had a snack bar or something smaller than going into a restaurant to order some ice cream or snacks while at the pool. Overall very clean and nice place. I would stay here again.

I stayed in room 208 which was pretty far from the main entrance, but thankfully i had a car to get around as the property is massive. They do offer a shuttle but for me, it didn't come that frequently and not early in the am. The grounds are stunning and filled with multiple hot springs, as well as regular cool ppol and water slides. Very family friendly, although I traveled solo. I appreciated the pool bar as well as the onsite restaurant. They also have a convenience store on site where you can buy souvenirs and other sundries. Loved it over all!
