Hotel Dann Cartagena

The rooms were way too small. In the regular room with 2 twin beds, there hardly any space to walk around the beds. To get some breathing space one has to book a junior suite or a full size suite. Staff, service and security personnel were excellent though. Breakfast and food menu was great as well.

Nice family stay with great and attentive service. May be time for some room improvements, but no major complaints. Restaurant service was excellent and very kind to the kids. The pool was a hit and the beach was easy access and clean. Would certainly consider staying there again on next visit.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu waa limited but good for us who so not eat a lot. The dinner menu had a wide variety and the food was delicious. The only con: do not eat any of the snacks or have the drinks left in the room. I paid US $25 for a snack size peanut, a bottle of water, and a can of beer, I drank accidentally, mistaking it for one of my drinks. The pool was amazing. It includes a kiddie pool and a jacuzzi. It was never crowded and the staff accommodating. We were told it closes at 8PM. However, if you're there past 8, they do not bother you. What I'd do differently next time: I'd hit up the minimarket directly across the street to get my snacks and drinks as soon as I arrive.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Ample space. Beach access. Safe area. Would come back with the rest of the family.

Great staff and perfect for a family vacation

It was clean. The staff was perfect. The beach was beautiful. The view was nice. The people were nice. The food was delicious. Everything was great like a wonderful vacation. My family and I spend a wonderful and great time. Everything came out perfect

This hotel has Children pool and beach. It’s good for family vacation. This is my 5th times stay and enjoy every time.

We stayed for our honeymoon and we loved it at Hotel Dann! The pool was relaxing and the staff were all around great. They have the best fries and beverages in town! The hotel is walking distance of St Martin where everything is and a 15 min drive to everything historical or sight seeing. We would definitely return. Not for kids so don't take them. Our only complaint would be Hollywood Beach...it's chaos. Just pay for a cab to somewhere else.

We loved the proximity to the beach and the great pool area! The apartment with two bedrooms was perfect for us and our kids and gave us lots of space. The staff was great and very, very helpful! The breakfast was really nice as well. Our main difficulty was with the Wi-Fi, as I brought my laptop to work and the Wi-Fi signal went away off and on and for a full day it did not work. It often would not connect with my phone either, and we relied on Wi-Fi to communicate with our phones. Also, the outlets in the apartment were old and only had two prongs instead of three, and I could not plug in my laptop. However, the staff was very helpful and found an extension cord for me to use! But I do think that in order to be a true four star hotel, the technology part needs to be updated a bit.

The rooms are very small and humidity is super high. I got sick, if traveling with a group or kids not a place to stay. You will get sick because of the humidity. Also , the beach is not as nice as the picture. We didn’t use the beach at all.breakfast choices were not the best. Overall is a 5/10. Moreover , the staff is very nice , yet not the amenities.
