Courtyard by Marriott Quebec City

The service was not good. We booked 2rooms more than 2weeks prior to our trip. When we got there we were told that the rooms wouldn’t be on the same floor, since we were split between the children we asked if they could try and were refused flat out. Front desk not friendly staff. We requested extra blankets 3times over 4days and didn’t get it. Not worth the price and not the service received at other Courtyard Marriott. Disappointing!

Nice hotel, nice staff, the area is industrial, not the best for a family vacation. The room gets cleaned every two days which isn’t great. The price was good but you need a rental car to get around . The restaurant was good. Good value for the dollar just make sure to rent a car, public transit is infrequent. 3 out of 5.

Hotel was very nice and clean Staff were very polite room was beautiful Comfortable bed Plenty of USB charger Close to supermarket and Fast food restaurants I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Easy parking. Convenient to go around town (if you have a car). Small indoor pool is great for kids (especially in the winter or bad weather.

It’s very nice I enjoyed the hotel and the staff but it was far from the downtown Quebec if you have a car it’s affordable and great hotel to stay there’s big mall within five minutes great for kids big playground and even skating ring.

Overall, everything was great with our stay. We had our 1, 2, and 3 year old children with us in the suite, so we really liked that there was a separate bedroom.

I brought my daughter and college-age grandchildren to tour the areas around Quebec for a week. We ended the tour at the Marriott and we’re very pleased with the rooms, and especially happy to find the hotel provided a shuttle service into Old Quebec. We totally enjoyed wandering the streets there without the worry of driving in and parking. Wonderful stay!

Overall, the property is fine. Free parking. Room was a good size. We found the bed a little too soft. Unfortunately, we had two issues that they didn’t fix: 1- The fridge made some noise and they never replaced it. It was also plugged to an outlet controlled by a light switch near the door (not the master) so when we shut the lights, the fridge also shut down… 2- Cold water was burning hot. When we complained, they said there’s some issues with the plumbing where the hot and cold water pipes are too close together so we had to turn the cold water tap on for many minutes before getting cold water. It’s dangerous if you have kids and my daughter did burn herself using it. Hot water was also very hot.

I like the room and living room but tge connecting door is not sound proof the room beside out room hears the kids playing normal talking not screaming and the internet connection is so limited. We need to reconnect all the time and it says we reach the maximum number of equipment or gadgets, that’s why they need to give us another password and username. The second night we got there in our room my username and password didn’t work, so same thing I need to call again 😩
