Homewood Suites by Hilton Toronto Vaughan

The stay was great! The only thing I had an issue with was the pool area being super slippery. My children and I fell while walking around it.

This is a great stay. Close to Canadas Wonderland. Pool is great for my kids. 3ft deep. And of course the hot tub is always a bonus. This has become one of our new fav hotels to stay

I like that it is next door to a Walmart and close to Vaughan Mills Outlet where they have Tesla chargers. The cleaning staff was helpful albeit non-native English speakers, which made it hard to communicate at times. I liked the chocolate chip cookies and cucumber water that they left out in the evening. I did not like that checking took over 15 minutes as I had 2 sleeping children to take to bed. I did not like finding a plate of dried food from previous visitors underneath the couch especially since I have 2 toddlers crawling around on the floor. I did not care for the mildew scent that permeated the air, seemingly from the carpet. I did not like that TWICE waffles and pancakes finished an hour before breakfast was finished and there was no attempt to replenish or apologize for the inconvenience. I did not care for the sofa bed as I awoke with back pain more rhan once. Finally, I did not care for the back and forth between the manager and Expedia regarding my attempt to shorten my stay....will leave out the middle man (Expedia) next time and deal directly with the hotel, preferrably Marriott as this Hilton left me with a poor impression.

Had a bit of a mix up with our room at check in but staff were extremely helpful and got us switched to a better room immediately. They also bought my baby an ice cream from the ice cream truck that came by outside the hotel! Extremely friendly amazing staff. I stay here every 6 months for a trip and have never had a bad stay.

access to shopping for family and kids, however, even with the bump to another sister property, the hotel did not have two beds left in the facility and we were forced to use a cot, they did provide us with a breakfast voucher for one day which was much appreciated; the slide was not operational, other than that it was good stay

The room was spacious and the kids loved the pool. The hotel itself is outdated and dirty. The breakfast had lots of items but only partially appetizing.

We’re driving up.. call comes from the property.. “there was an issue with your room you booked” immediately I was terrified we were traveling for a dance competition so assumed it would be an over booking on the property. As the staff member continues he said do not worry we have upgraded you at no cost to ensure everyone has a place to stay. The kids loved the upgrade! And we loved how helpful, attentive and on the ball staff was. Normally hotels would advise us of an issue as we’re trying to check in. Homewood Suites called 3 hrs before we were scheduled to arrive saving us the panic at checkin. We will be back next time we compete in Vaughan. Thank you again

Room was nice, was a bit of noise coming from heater but manageable, was hoping for a quiet rest after a long drive and maybe a hot tub soak but was packed with kids… Should have known it’s hockey season… maybe an hour of adult only time at the pool area?

Clean, comfortable, upscale, excellent service. Convenient to highways, shopping, family activities.. Luxury suite with kitchen at affordable price.

I must comment that Homewood Suites is a decent place for a family trip/holiday. The rooms are sparkling clean (and contrary to some reviews of pets by some customers who gave a 1 star). I like the fact that you have the option of an in-suite kitchen facility and a sofa bed. I give Homewood Suites a 5-star.
