This was the second time we stayed at Muskoka bay resort. We liked the fact that the 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was more like an apartment then a hotel room and had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher , very spacious, very clean and was cozy and relaxing. We will definitely stay there again and we have recommended Muskoka bay resort to our friends and family.

We had an amazing trip and a fantastic family time. We had a fantastic golfing experience around the resort. Beautiful and easily accessible range. Peace, comfort, serenity, and security in one package. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning employees are friendly and provide excellent service. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook whatever you want. We had a great time and want to return with our families.

Very comfortable environment. However parking spaces were quite narrow so it really required good parking skills. Overall It was a great place to stay with family.

Stayed with family in unit #10 which was a double bedroom loft. Upon entry several issues arose where the landscaping was damaged with crack stones on the approach to the entrance of the unit. A large pool of water was found infront of the fridge which was due to broken freezer door. The main washroom was in poor condition with mouldy and cracked shower pan grout. In addition, wooden trim in washroom was in need of replacement. Washroom lacked adequate toiletries and had to request more from hotel staff. Fixtures were outdated and needed replacement. The clubhouse pool is small and needs upkeep as there is significant wear and tear. To top it off, restaurant at club house was overwhelmed and unable to accommodate us. Overall, the stay was not enjoyable for the priced paid per night. I do not recommend this resort and will not be returning.

Stunning resort. The rooms, lobby and amenities were beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. There was plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen and patio space. Great for families. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The golf cart rides between hotel and pool were awesome. I would recommend this place and will definitely come back.

Hoped to spend some quality time with family for NYE, but was quite disappointed. The resort and the club kept contradicting each other about the events happening. Went back and forth few times between the resort and the club for few events but got turned back saying they are fully booked and it’s a private event when the resort front desk said it’s free public events. Not the best to go when it’s not snowing as well since all the “inclusive” amenities were not available due to no snow on the ground. Kinda turned into going to an apartment with a golf course in the back instead of being in a resort. NY celebration was at 10 pm which was something u have to pay extra 150 per person for and overbooked Definitely not worth about $1000 for 2 nights, really hoped for something more than a place to just sleep.

Check in was great, very knowledgeable staff. The front desk was always exceptional with their service. Unfortunately at 11:45pm, the fire alarm started going off in our room for zero reason that we could figure out. It would go off for 30 seconds and then shut off and go back off a few minutes later…faulty, cheap alarms in my opinion. After the third time, I went down to the front desk, the staff was unaware of the issue but kindly switched our room to the penthouse. Great at first…but let me add I had my 2 year old daughter with us that was already awake AND the elevator was out of service so we had to walk up the stairs two flights, with all of our things, and a very upset baby. Needless to say our sleep was terrible that night. Again, the staff at the front desk were great. Our new room was clean(ish), there were opened, old beer cans left in the washroom cupboards and even a pill bottle…absolutely disgusting. To compensate for the hassle we did get a free breakfast, thank you for that. For the week following, I called the hotel to provide feedback to the manager directly, no one got back to me. In my opinion the lack of service from management is awful, please do better. No other compensation was given, it was really disappointing. The finishes in the room seem cheap and the workmanship seems like it was very rushed. I would never return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone either.
