Super 8 by Wyndham Red Lake ON

Everything was satisfactory. Nothing exceptional. I booked one night. When I went to book a second night, they increased the price offered the previous day. The hotel was receiving many reservations due to a funeral. Pretty low to take advantage of a grieving family. No I would not book Super 8

Your staff in the RedLake location are exceptional. We have stayed with you almost every year since you opened in Red Lake. We have family there. This time however we noticed a few things that are not so nice. We understand that your cleaning staff is short but stacks of garbage in the hallways, from take out food, taps in bathroom very loose, sink badly needs re-caulking, towels also thrown in hallways. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday and none if this was picked up. We feel a manager should walk the halls at least a couple of times a day, so guests are not overwhelmed with seeing all of this. We were in rooms 314 & 316 this week.

During our book in, we were not aware the the rooms would not be cleaned each day. Once we were made aware there was no problem going downstairs to get our towels. My mom 87 was on the main floor and we were on the fourth floor. The hotel was far from busy and they could of had us on the same floor. Again we made do. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. COVID 19 has put a crimp in how people travel these days.
