Canalta Selkirk

Kanalta hotel was a best place to be if you want relaxation and out for something in a short time break ... i will surely comeback here and bring my relatives and family...the gront desk people are so nice and very accomodating breakfast was so good even in simple way... honestly im good in everything but of course i need to mention what i really dont like ... fresh fruit they dont have and beakfast sausages.. the bacon was not crispy the way i want it to be.. but still kanalta hotel in selkirk manitoba was a place to be for relaxation even i dont experience their hot tub and swimming pool...

Our stay and the Canalta couldn't have been better. The staff were very friendly and accomidating. The breakfast they put on is fantasic, everything from Waffles, sausage & eggs to cereal, toast, juice & coffee The pool, hottub and sauna never disappoints! The kids always have a blast swimming and playing in the sprinklers/water fountains in the pool while we relax in the hottub.

The only problem was the shower - not great pressure slow draining. And so many kids teams in the lobby….

Stayed 3 nights for a family function. Great facility. Staff are kind and helpful. Laundry machines available for a cost. Great stay.

We would definitely go back here again. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub was a great asset. Definitely busy with kids. Offered one hour at the end of day for adults only. Breakfast was great! Lots of options and hot. Overall was a great experience.

The property was excellent We had to leave a day early for family reasons but hotel could not reimburse us for the night stay which they would have done if we had booked through them I would suggest you allow hotels to be able to reimburse customers due to emergencies to make the Expedia experience more I was not impressed that I had to pay for a service I did not use May consider another option next time I book multiple nights

I chose this property based on the reviews I’d read, which seemed to me good. Having two little ones it was also important for me to find a hotel with a pool that suited our 11 month old and our 6 year old, we’d decided that because this pool seemed to fit, we wouldn’t stay at the canad inns and do splashers but after 20 min in the pool and all of us including the baby coughing non stop for hours afterwards. The chlorine was so incredibly high our throats and eyes were burning, we had planned to take the kids swimming the next morning but have now had to change our plans and head home sooner than we expected. Unfortunately the cleanliness and pleasantness of the staff won’t be enough for us to come back and we will be paying the extra to stay at the canad inns the next time we come. It was a huge waste of our money and family getaway as we didn’t even get to have the fun we wanted with our kids.
